Staff very kind and friendly.They provide good information about the city. It's not a luxury place but it's comfortable. Just a suggestion, rooms need a better fan or air conditioning.

Amazingly friendly staff, made us feel very welcome and gave us great advice and suggestions about the city. Overall a pleasant stay in Tarragona. It was great with the pentry so we could store groceries and eat some meals at the hotel. Also - great location near the city beach, train station and city centre. However - be aware that the hotel does not have AC in the rooms and it gets extremly warm in summertime. The room did have a ceiling fan but it did not help.

This hotel and the service of the staff was amazing! It is a quirky hotel with only 27 rooms but the service is 5 star. Xavier and his wife were the perfect hosts. The hotel is within easy reach of the train station and the town centre. If you arrive early they keep your bag for you and even take it to your room before you return. There is a fridge in the lounge area to keep your fresh foods and everything you need to make your meals. The lavazza coffee machine is 1euro a drink and even has decaf option. The housekeeping staff is amazing. The room and hotel was spotless. The shower was powerful and although space limited it worked. Absolutely loved our stay and will definitely stay again when visiting beautiful Tarragona. Thank you Xavier and team for amazing memories.

Had a great time. Super helpful and friendly staff. They went out of their way to give us the lay of the land. Hotel is centrally located to most things. Less than 10-min walk from train station, and 15-min walk from bus station. Beach and Roman sights nearby, as is main market and many restaurants. No fridge in room, but common area has shared fridge, hot pot, cooking area, self-serve (paid) coffee, etc. Great value.

What a great family run hotel! A great location to explore the town and very handy for the train station. The room had everything we needed. It was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again when next visiting the area

The owner's nephew was on his day off, and saw me outside the hotel as he was passing by. When he saw me trying to call to check in, he stopped to check me in! Now that's service!

The hotel was very clean and had a cosy family-run feel (the staff were friendly & helpful). Being able to use the dining room to eat your own food or make a coffee/tea was a bonus. The location was great as well, within walking distance to the Mercat, sights and shops, as well as to the train and bus stations. A thoroughly enjoyable stay!

We had a private in suite bathroom but some rooms are not.
Reasonably priced off site parking but does get busy.
Would definitely stay again as easy to walk to shops and attractions.

Very quirky, downside was no air con in the room and in August this year it’s uncomfortable, there was a fan that did help a bit. Great location & will come back when it’s cooker

I want to mention that Albert checked us in and he was so friendly and helpful. He gave us a lot of tips on where to go and how to get there. The hostel had character and was very eclectic and cute. Two downsides were that there was no aircon and the bathroom door was a curtain. Thankfully, the ceiling fan had a high speed!

I LOVE Hotel.Pigal!! Charming, incredibly cool and fun boutique hotel in a perfect location en Tarragona, literally minutes from.incredible historic Roman Ruins and incredibly historic buildings and attractions -- Great restaurants and cafes nearby, and the train station is less than a 10 minute walk to the hotel -- The owner Xavier and his lovely wife and their lovely emoloyees are really wonderful :) -- Gracias por todo Xavier!! x

The facility was clean and secure. Lots of friendly and helpful information - they have their own map map for the city as well as walking paths under the metro.
Very impressed and the location is perfect between bus stations, old town and the ocean/marina.

This small hotel delivers a basic, clean and comfortable environment. I went to Tarragona to work for four days and chose the Pigal due to its proximity to the Port, I then found that it is almost in the centre with good access to all the shops and restaurants. at the price they offered for the room I expected worse and was surprised to find that it was more, much more than adequate. I need to say that one of the things that impressed me most was the helpfulness of the staff, they could not have gone further to help me.
