Lovely place to stay for a quiet get away if you wanted that. I stayed one night only for a course the next day, but I would definitely consider staying there again in the future for a leisurely break with family. Noleen the host was lovely.

Very comfortable room, great breakfast and it was lovely to see the calves, lambs and Donkey outside our bedroom window.

Probably one of my favorite locations I stayed in all of Ireland. The breakfast was an amazing spread and she will also make you something hot to order. Lovely room with an amazing view overlooking the lake. Not much to do nearby so the perfect getaway in the country! Will absolutely book again if available when I'm back.

We spend one night and everything was so nice and comfortabel. The host was very helpfull. We had tea and cake at arrival. And she brought us to a pub for a maal in the evening. Very good breakfast. Good price-quality top. We would come back again!

The owners are absolutely amazing, super kind and welcoming people! Their home is beautiful and warm, set in an amazing location with stunning views! I couldn’t get enough of the lake view from my room. The room was spotless with all the things you could need. The bathroom and shower were great too! Breakfast was really delicious too, freshly cooked to order, lots of options too! I really enjoyed talking to other guests staying at breakfast as well as the owners of the B&B. Very friendly people with an amazing home offering lovely rooms and a great stay! I’d stay here again in a heart beat. Thank you for a lovely stay!

I had a truly fantastic stay at Hillcrest B&B. Check-in and check-out were very easy and Noeleen was not only communicative but very helpful. The room, bed and facilities were extremely comfortable. I also enjoyed a very tasty and filling breakfast. I only saw the view from the room and dining room for a brief moment as I arrived after dark and there was a thick fog in the early morning. However as the fog lifted, the breathtaking view gradually revealed itself. Coupled with how well they keep the grounds and how picturesque their organic farm is, this is possibly one of the best B&Bs in Ireland.

The property is remote, but has beautiful scenery. The staff is exceptional as well.

Noreen is an excellent host. A warm welcome with refreshments awaited us after our long journey . A very comfortable B & B situated on a working farm overlooking a lake with beautiful views. We enjoyed safe walkways to breathe in the healthy fresh air and view the animals that abounded.

Absolutely amazing!! Couldn't have asked for lovelier hosts, and the breakfast was incredible. We did not realize the spot was as rural as it was, but Nolene made the stay--while brief--a very comfortable and hospitable one. The scenery was gorgeous, and the spot just lovely! Cannot recommend Hillcrest B&B enough.

The proprietor was very accommodating. Noelene was personable. Of course, Molly, the sheepdog should be acknowledged.

This is the most beautiful setting. Nature is at it’s most spectacular here with the baaaa’s of sheep, the cows and horses. The interior design of the house could be featured in a magazine. I hate to leave here.
