Folks, you got the address wrong on the hotels.com site.
Also, there was a landslide and this led to the road leading up to the hotel being closed.
The hotel should inform guests about this as it's a 20-25 min additional time to travel there.

Truly beautiful property in a rural atmosphere. Small swim pool in our complex was really cool. Great breakfast.
Only minor drawback is that it’s not short walking distance from the town.

This Indonesian resort is beautifully situated between some rice fields and vegetable gardens and a small piece of jungle. It is about 15 minutes drive from Ubud center (hotel.com information that it is walking distance is not correct). Suites are spacious and well maintained and staff very helpful to solve any issues. Cooking course by the hotel chef is highly reccommended. Restaurants are good as well. The only drawback was that oyr room was below a suite with a swimming pool, which flowed over to our balcony from time to time. We had a room including a jacuzzi. Some of the pictures in the hotel.com site are not correct for that room. I found this resort having a very relaxed atmosphere, which was nice after all the business in Ubud center.

The Breakfast Menu really needs to improve ... Have less "indian" centric food and more western food tyres like Salmon etc.

The staff was great, we enjoyed to stay Visesa Ubud. It is also great for kids. One of the cons is the hotel is far away from ubud center it is not 13 min walk, it is 13 min by a car

Wonderful stay. Peaceful. Quiet. Location is a bit far from the city center but the peace and quiet make up for it. Friendly staff. Good selection of food for breakfast especially the Indian food section.

Very nice property with good facilities. Free breakfast buffet was decent. They could increase the frequency of their shuttle service to Ubud..we could not use it as the last one was at 5:00

Please corrct the location of this property as it was not 5 min walking to Palace and not 6 min walking to Ubud Traditional .. its al least 45 mins to 1 hr walling to either places … i would not have selected this property as i thought i could walk to the city

The hotel was absolutely filled woth creaming children and group tours. I couldn’t have breakfast. The staff seemed angry under the smiles and maybe were also fed up with tourism .

THIS IS YOUR SIGN TO BOOK! Everything about this place was perfect. Started off our honeymoon here and we could not have asked for a better start to it. The customer service was phenomenal; our bags were carried to our suite upon check in and carried out on check out, the rooms were cleaned daily. It was the best experienced. Beautiful scenes. Amazing vibes.

There is nothing bad I can say about our stay in the 2 bedroom villa, everything was incredible. It’s also walkable into Ubud center or the hotel provides a shuttle 3 times a day. The massage I had at the spa was very good.

The resort is amazing. Its extensive grounds are beautiful. The villa we stayed in was lovely and comfortable. The staff were all wonderful.
We did experience an ongoing issue with, at times, no hot water in the shower. The staff did their best to fix the issue.
The only other downside was that despite the resort description stating you can walk places from the resort this is untrue. The road from the resort is very narrow, steep, winding and extremely busy. The resort does offer a free shuttle 3 times a day and taxis are easily available.
We enjoyed our stay and would recommend Visesa

The hotel is absolutely beautiful and surrounded with lush green plantations. On the back side of hotel there is a beautiful rice plantation. The manager and the staffs provide excellent service and goes above and beyond. Definitely a 5 star out 5. Will definitely recommend this hotel to family and coworkers

The staff were amazing, always friendly and helpful.
Only negative was the last free shuttle to town was at 5pm with a 5.30pm return.. would be great if they could add a later shuttle.
Although plenty of cabs available for the short trip back and forth.
Highlight was the great forest views!

We loved our stay at Visesa! Absolutely stunning, tranquil grounds, super friendly and attentive staff, comfortable room, though a tad outdated, great massage therapists, and wonderful breakfast buffet. Only a mile outside of Ubud town center so we were able to walk to everything so great location as well. The gardens and rice fields were so peaceful and calm!

The staff is friendly. The environment is good. There are many flowers and rice field in this resort. The Villa is clean and well maintained. But it is not closed to downtown Ubud, we need to take a shuttle to there.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Visesa. The moment we arrived, we felt so attended to. Besides warmly greeting us and assisting us with checkin, the staff also offered to perform a welcome blessing ritual for us and suggestions on what we could do around the resort.
The jungle room we booked was spacious, clean, quiet and peaceful. I liked that the resort paid attention to details, from providing fresh bath salt daily to changing only the necessary bath and floor towels. So I felt like we did our part in being eco-friendly, without comprising on luxury and comfort. The resort also has padi fields, a garden, farm animals making an appearance in the morning, spa and activities all day. So there’s always something for us to do.
We also enjoyed the dinner at Lumbung restaurant that’s situated just within the resort compounds, and features a mini natural waterfall at the al fresco area. Even the staff here were friendly and welcoming. Thank you!

Honestly for the price, I felt that the property was a little overrated. Breakfast was really good, and service was as well. We weren’t a fan of the bathroom being outside, as we’d get bitten by mosquitos while doing anything. Furthermore, the hot water is limited by a hot water tank, and after that, there’s no more hot water, which is inconvenient. Lastly, because the bathroom is outside, you can hear your neighbors doing their business, and they can hear you. We had a case where our neighbor was blasting their music and we could hear it.

Our welcome reception was surprisingly awesome-we received a blessing and some refreshing drink…our air conditioner broke the first night but the staff fixed problem the next morning…we rode the bikes…the landscape of the hotel is so relaxing and beautiful…I will definitely recommend this property to family and friends…
