Just be really careful in the winter as they have white carpeting and you need to take your shoes off and put on outside the room. Really quiet before and after dinner and you will rarely see a soul or be bothered. Very nice restaurant and dinner on premises and Mary is observant and hospitable with your stay.

As my partner is very reluctant staying at an Inn, he was very pleased with the entire place! Mary, the Inn Keeper was super accommodating & upgraded us (Thank you again Mary). The room was quaint & the bathroom had a plethora of hot water which is always great! Unfortunately, we did not eat at the onsite restaurant but the menu looked very appealing! We did have a night-cap & scrumptious dessert at the beautiful copper bar! Will definitely be staying here again.

We were bumped up to the Carriage House because we booked for 5 nights and Mary, thought we wouldn’t be comfortable in the room that we booked. It was great! King size bed. Bath filled with luxury towels and 2 headed shower. Plus a kitchenette. 2 televisions one up one down. A gas fireplace (which unfortunately wasn’t working.) But we were cozy without it.

At my wife's request to save money I booked this Inn, which is a little off the main drag, but close enough to walk. Right off the bat there were some issues with cleanliness which were taken care of but left a bit of a sour taste in my wife's mouth. Also, any movement of curtains / drapes led to a cascade of dead bugs. (Standard fare for old houses, but something you don't expect when paying hundreds for one night.) Anywho, the room was "quaint". There was no television, and barely more than enough space for a bed and single chair. The A/C was not working to start which was an issue as it was one of the hottest days of the summer. A maintenance guy was able to get it going, and it mostly worked after that. We booked the room for 2 nights and ended up walking away after the first and staying in another hotel down the road. I always read reviews before booking and was surprised to find what we walked into. The dining room is beautiful and upscale, and I was just surprised by the lack of cleanliness. The staff seemed courteous and accommodating, and I'm not sure if we just caught them at a bad time (The LP horse show was in operation). I found the reviews did not reflect our actual experience.

The staff at the Interlaken Inn are the best, Very personable. They have a quaint well-stocked bar and the bartender was fantastic. The restaurant serves dinner in the evening and they have a great menu. Parking is a challenge for guests - seems like only ~ 10 real spots which need to be better marked - and explained to overnight guests.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. The house has a lot of character. Very good value for price.

Four star rating must be for restaurant! Had to find someone in kitchen to check in. .Room was on 3rd floor of old house with no elevator. 3 flights up and down for every move. Old style tub with no shower curtain. Dusty room and no lake views. TV did not work. had to get restaurant host to fix. Not a good trip for the money.

All around excellent. The restaurant is very good, the staff friendly and efficient. The location is fine. Parking is a bit of a challenge but it’s a great place to stay.

Very Victorian, owners cooked us breakfast which was outstanding. The restaurant was 5 star. The rooms are comfortable and clean, our room was small but we did get a free upgrade upon arrival without having to ask. Our friends stayed in the carriage house and that was really nice and roomy. It had a kitchen living room and loft bedroom. I would stay here again, it was close to the town but far enough to be quiet.

We stayed at the Interlaken after the ADK Ragnar race, and were greeted by Mary, the owner, at the reception. She was so friendly, upgraded our room to the nicest available so we could relax, and we didn't have to worry about a thing. It was by far the easiest, most stress free stay I've ever had. The room was clean, comfortable, and the location is close enough to downtown to walk, but secluded enough to enjoy some privacy.
