Clean environment but it’s difficult to control the temperature of water supply during shower

Location is good, 5mins walk from Taipei Main Station. For a hostel, it’s very clean, especially the beds. I like the fact that all beds have a USB port and curtain, very handy and a bit of privacy.

Ond day I felt sick and they help me giving me the early check in so I can rest. Thanks a lot.

Excellent hostel! I Stay in Flip Flop almost every time in Taipei! Near Taipei main station and airport MRT, nice staffs!

Good location. Close to Taipei station. Well-managed facilities.

It was my second stay here. Perfect location that just few min walk to MOCA or the MRT station. Staff remained helpful. One thing for improvement was the stability of hot/cold water from the shower. And suggested to have recycling bins for upper floors, not only rubbish bins. Yet, all in all, definitely will continue to stay in this hostel next time!

Everything is nice with the hostel, except there was no elevator to 4th floor. Other than this, I'm enjoyed my stay and give it a 9.5/10.

The hostel is located conveniently within walking distance to Taipei Main and Zhongshan stations, and these 2 stations are linked by a super long underground shopping street. The room and bed were quite clean. However, sharing with others means having to put up with smelly shoes and odd smells, and wished the hostel had provided air fresheners. The room I had faced the main street and the noise from the traffic was loud. Plus point is staff are friendly and willing to help.

A lot of mosquitoes/insects in the corridor and open area. Other than this is perfect.

single room 205- comfortable. a bit noisy by the roadside but i always appreciate a good bright window for hostel stay. the noise is easily avoidable by ear plugs provided, good sleep is secure. good spacious common space at kitchen, longue, lab. location is near to th breakfast is mediocre, but it is located near to 四海豆浆大王 which is my favourite Taiwanese breakfast place, open as early as 5.30am. location is good, walkable from Zhongshan Station and Taipei Main Station.

Staff very friendly. hotel location is very excellent there close to MRT Taipei Main Station and Zhongshan Station. around there also have a restaurant and convenient store.

This hostel is located nearby 'Zhongshan' and 'Taipei main' station, so you can go anywhere comfortably. The room was so clean. Lobby was modern and pretty. But, bedding was a little dust.

Great location nearby train stations and bus stops. Awesome hostel with great team of staff. Bunk bed is comfy, private and spacious. Highly recommenced!

My initial check-in wasn't a pleasant experience as I was assigned to a room that is different from what I booked and paid for. I tried to explain at check-in that the room with a upper deck bed (that needs climbing) was not what I chose. As it was a late check in at 8pm (i was on a late flight), I was told that it's their policy for first come first serve travelers to get whichever room type that is available, and those who check in late will be issued with whichever rooms left from the category you booked. As it was getting late and all rooms were full, I ended up sleeping on the sofa at the lower deck (the upper deck is really a Steep climb). The next morning I left a feedback on Hotels.com and further explained that i have an injury and climbing up was really a challenge. Within moments, the staff got in touch with me and helped to solve my problem with the room. I want to commend Flona (staff of Flip Flop Hostel) for helping me to settle into a room where I can have easy access to the bed. Thank you Hotels.com too for providing me with an avenue to give feedback and assuring me that my bookings can be made right!

Very helpful staff, nice environment, close to Taipei Main Station.

Chose Flip Flop Hostel for its location. Excellent place since I travelled with a bike bag and had to roll it from the train station. Short walk away. Nearby malls and shopping areas for food. Booked the double bunk bed room. Good condition. Excellent help with storing the bike and left baggage until I had to leave for the airport after checkout. Good wifi.

Great interior design and theme. Open concept for the interior with a cosy relaxing lounge lined with tuft. Rooms and toilets are new and clean. Great for the price. Helpful staff. near to zhongshan MRT. Will want to return to stay here next time.

staff were nice and helpful, and the hostel locates in an excellent area which is so convenient to travel nearby. more importantly, the balcony is so cozy!!

Near Taipei main station and also ZhongShan MRT. Its a convenient location for me. Other than that, I like their clean, wooden design bedroom, private enough too. However I think that washroom is not well-ventilated because I sweating a lot when I using the washroom, Overall, its a nice place to rest

Excellent location and spacious. Room facing the main road was too noisy for a Good rest. Cleaniness of both the room and common facilities can be better.

I had a great stay in Flip Flop Hostel! Wonderful staff and relaxing environment. I will definitely be back!

My rating tells it all. The hostel is near Macdonalds, KFC, 7-11 and a Supermart. It is also right beside a bubble tea shop if you are looking for some.
