Great Location

Good design, nice bar, friendly staff. Off site parking expensive (19Eur) and rooms rather compact, but efficient. Good night sleep.

Service was ok - we had to provide the same details many times and the check-in line was slow with only one person, they didn't offer or let us know there was onsite parking on check-in or beforehand, didn't offer any suggestions of what to see or do in the area. They were helpful on giving us a quiet room as requested though. Lobby area is nicely decorated.

Clean and modern hotel, nicely located just minutes by foot from anywhere in the city centre. Would highly recommend. The rooms are a bit too small. Perhaps it's priced a little on the high end as a result.

Typical Motel One. You know what you get. All good!!!!

Good breakfast and service. Modern but rather cramped rooms. Convenient location but limited parking availability, we had to use the (expensive) nearby Karlsbau public parking garage during our 3 day stay.

Nice modern hotel, but the rooms are very small and quite basic. No tea/coffee making facilities, small bathroom, not much space around the bed.

Location excellent & new modern rooms & great service. A little challenging to work on laptop due to small desk area.

Clean and modern. However, rooms were very small, no coffee machine in the room or fitness center. Good value and well located.

Clean hotel rooms - Very good location.Was there for quick stop in Freiburg (personal trip).Booked two rooms for wife and two children.Although rooms were adequate they were incredibly small. Impossible to have two people walk by each other in room - it was that tight. I felt I was in a hotel with Japanese style micro rooms. No place to reasonably open luggage and function in room.I have travelled for years for business, including Europe and these rooms were tiny even by European standards. Also no parking on sight was available. It was all booked even though I checked in early.

There were many disappointments. There is nowhere to pull in with your car let alone park. You are left to figure it out. The breakfast is not what is represented on the website and the rooms are insanely small. Nowhere to put luggage. The staff was not helpful.

Very complicated, expensive and limited parking situation and small rooms are the only drawbacks of this otherwise outstanding hotel on the edge of Freiburg's Altstadt. Easy walking access to all of the sights, beautiful and smart design, delicious homemade cocktails in the huge lounge and workspace on the main floor. Nice music in the public areas too. All amenities are thoughtfully composed, with nice references to culture in the surrounding Schwarzwald. Organic toiletries made in Germany, available for purchase.
