Lovely place near the city center. Staff is really nice and helpful. Breakfast is plentiful.
Hotel is 98 years old I was told, and that means that you hear alot of what's going on outside in the interior garden and the street - cars literally drove by 2 meters from my window all day and most of the night. So bring earplugs just in case.

I loved this hotel I didn't want to leave. The room was cozy, the shower epic especially after a long hike and I had a nice table and chairs outside my door overlooking the courtyard. Only issue was the noise from the bar next door could get a bit loud but they finished pretty early

I stayed here last year. It has been even upgraded since then. I will book again next year when I come through Antigua. Very convenient to plaza center and everything else you will need. Everyone is very kind.

Great location, friendly staff, and beautiful gardens with seating areas to enjoy! The rooms are comfortable, very well-kept and lean with AC, mini-fridge, and safety deposit boxes. Centrally located near Central Park and near many great cafes & restaurants.

Been coming to Hotel Aurora for 36 years and they’ve done many detailed upgrades. Charming, beautiful and colorful garden, very comfortable beds, attentive and very polite staff.
Safe area with a short walk to Central Park, cafes, restaurants, Santa Catarina Arch, museums and shopping.
AC, WiFi, continental breakfast! This family run hotel is a gem, we highly recommend it!!!

Absolutely lovely hotel, the centerpiece is a lush inner courtyard. The continental breakfast included breads, fresh fruit and good Guatemalan coffee. One could order additional items for a minimal price (eggs, pancakes). My room was comfortable and clean. The staff were superb. I most definitely will stay again. Highly recommend

The overall experience was great. The only comment will be in related to the the Continental Breakfast, it needs to have more variety.
For example: more variety of pastries, juices, yogurt. The current selection is very limited.

Excellent hotel with a beautiful tranquil garden and classy seating areas in the shade. The room was traditionally furnished to a very high standard and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Checking in and out was very easy as the communication and friendliness of the hosts was faultless. 10/10 from me and my current favourite hotel in Central America. I only wish I had more time to spend there.

Location is perfect! Walkable distance to everything. Room was hot, no AC but a fan. The receptionist at arrival was annoyed every time we ask a question, nor pleasant at all. The breakfast is continental, minimal for the price of the room, eggs, bacon/ham, etc is additional.

Hotel Aurora was a very beautiful surprise! Had no idea what to expect in Antigua, and in arriving in the town not knowing where I was staying, when I walked into the courtyard I was truly transformed! It is so beautiful! And then to our room which was very nice and very comfortable! What a great place to stay and a wonderful town to visit! 2 nights was not enough to explore everything!!!!

Beautiful hotel, very clean, cozy, quiet , beautiful huge room with king size bed ,beautiful garden . The staff was very friendly and attentive, the hotel was just a couple minutes away from the Antigua park and restaurants. The only issue was the internet couldn’t get to sign into Netflix cause there was no internet service. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Great location. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Continental breakfast options could’ve been better but there are plenty of nice breakfast spots on the same street. Overall a good stay! I would definitely stay there again!!!
