Nice place to stay, relaxing and safe. Apartment was modern and nicely set although the walls would benefit from being repainted.

Great place for a mini break. Lots of places to visit in the area or relax, leave the car parked and enjoy what Mandoon has to offer or take the two minute stroll to the Sandleford Estate.

Beautiful

We stayed 2 nights at Maya Maya to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. It's a lovely place in the tranquil Swan Valley and has plenty of options for food/drink/entertainment. Our room was upstairs with a balcony overlooking the trees and river. The room had everything we needed including Nespresso pod coffee machine, small fridge, glasses and cups. A complimentary bottle of wine was much appreciated.

Beautiful way to start a trip to Western Australia

Very tranquil relaxed night spent in a very clean room with a nice outside area looking over the river. Great Expedia VIP benefit was a bottle of Rose in the room which was very nice. Only very minor comment was I received a lot of emails from the property prior to the day (I was asked for and provided my ETA at least 3 times), which was a bit unnecessary.

Overall the how stay was very good the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The only disappointment I had was they don’t do room service for breakfast which would have been nice to stay in bed and have breakfast not have to get up and go to the restaurant. But other then that I can’t fault

Great place to stay in the swan valley

The service was excellent. We were welcomed upon arrival and staff was friendly. However, in regards to cleanliness, we found ants on the bed and I got a bug bite on my back over night. Air dryer was available, which was good. However, it was in the perfect location if you’re having a wedding at Mandoon or Sandalford.

This was a lovely room and the brewery and meal were also lovely. The grounds are fantastic. Only downside was the lack of a swimming pool as it was so hot and we could not find a place where we could swim in the river.

Every staff person was friendly with a smile. My only regret was we did not have time to explore all things available at the property.

Nice accommodation but the stairwell set up between apartments meant it was noisy if people were on phones outside or waking up and down the stairs.

Very quiet and peaceful surroundings

The rooms are really nicely done - none of the usual 5 star hotel look that is bland and boring. And you're treated as a real person, not just someone to be polite to because that's your job.

We enjoyed our one night stay at Mandoon and wished we could have stayed for more. The 3 rooms were prepared in advance and the infant cot that I requested was placed prior in the room. Shower facilities were great. However, walls are a bit thin and any passing human traffic can be heard quite loudly. Food was good and we enjoyed our meals at homestead brewery. It was also the only restaurant that was open during our stay there.

Lovely place to stay while enjoying the area of Swan valley.The staff are warm & friendly. The rooms are clean & serviced every day. Complimentary bottled water provided each day . We had an upstairs room but you need to be able to walk up & carry your bags upstairs. Lovely view of the river from the balcony. The homestead restaurant serves excellent food & wine .well worth booking a wine tasting experience at the cellar door.

The staff is excellent and welcoming. Assisted me throughout my stay in mandoon! Kudos!

I love the weekday getaway, it was very relaxing. The staffs were amazing very helpful and friendly. To make it perfect Mandoon should have a pampering package eg. (facial and a massage) and a tour of the vineyard, for people like me who want to get away for a night or two from home, looking for a relaxing time and do not want to leave the property. The room should have a comfy chair for reading.

It was very difficult to find the reception to check in - it took 30 mins from arrival to getting into the room. Booked the room for my partner’s birthday and to get out of the city. The hotel Prides itself on tranquility and it’s luxe feel however they put us in a room opposite a bride and groom so as you can imagine we were woken at 12:45 when the whole bridal party returned and then again at 1am and 2:30am. Apparently this was our fault as Mandoon Estate is a wedding venue and it is “generally quieter during the week” Apparently I called the wrong number to notify staff although it was an answering machine from the main phone Upon check out we were made to feel ridiculous for even complaining and were gifted a $30 cheese board we put on the room service. I then said that was pretty unreasonable considering the hotel was almost $300 for the night The manager then emailed and said they would refund $88 Cut my losses and won’t ever stay here again Front office staff were all rude

The facilities were modern and welcoming. Excellent staff and lovely to be on a riverside location that felt private and secluded.

Their "fancy" tv system stopped working in the middle of the Australian Open final and none of their movies would then load either...so the blank wall wasn't very entertaining...left bright and chirpy at 6:30am. Previous reviews mention the extra small fridge that is pre-filled with bottles and cans that have to all be removed in order to keep anything cool so disappointing overall.
