Excellent customer service. Staff were very helpful and polite with a great sense of humour as well ‘kalamansi juice with GIN-ger.’ Definitely will be back next time!

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful; I'd hire them anytime! The facilities were excellent except for no elevator (we were on the fourth floor). A five minute walk to the beach and restaurants but that was offset by the reasonable price of the rooms. I would stay here again.

Great customer service

The Hotel is in station 2 just mention the church in loop road and the etrike driver should know it. Its centered between Station 3 , 1 and even close enough to Bulabog Beach for water activities.. ( e-trike cost 15 pesos per pax ). Were surprised that a free buffet type breakfast was also included and the menu changes everyday..The bathroom is clean and the staffs are very friendly and helpfull..We've stayed there 5 days and 4 nights..

After my previous disaster of another property, this property is great. Super friendly service with a smile, a laugh and the sounds of the porter singing in the morning, I can thoroughly recommend this place. Located just off the main road on the border of station 1 and 2, restaurants and cafes galore, nice walk to small along the beach, buffet breakfast changing each day at the onsite restaurant, nice cool swimming pool, what more could you ask for! I will be staying.on my next visit for sure. Lots of love to all the team there they are fantastic.

Didn't take long to get checked in. The staff is polite and helpful. I looked over the room to see the... view 🤔. Also, I noticed the fridge was warm, and the thermostat dial was broken. I then looked over the trusty safe, which you can just put under your arm and walk out, or throw it out the window to a friend waiting down below if you'd like. Luckily, I didn't carry much for valuables. The door had one lock, which made me nervous, but no issues. Let's talk about noise now. Yes, the roosters crow nonstop, I can handle nature, but this is excessive. The worst part is the parents yelling and the kids running and screaming, along with slamming doors. Plus, the footsteps up the stairs. That's right, no elevator for you folks! On to the pool... its deepest is 4 feet in the middle. It's a pool for your kids. For beach access, you'll need to walk about a block up, then cut through the narrow alleyway. Even though the staff is good and it's a decent looking place, I won't be returning.

Excellent staff. Very friendly and accommodating. Clean was room but the water from the shower was not warm enough. Swimming pool is small and very cold. Food at the breakfast buffet were delicious but not enough for all the guests checked in.

Unfriendly and inconvenient !

The most outstanding feature of Il Mare Sakura is its wonderful staff, including the front desk, the dining staff and the housekeeping staff. They provided exemplary professional and extremely courteous service to my group of 7 pax! We loved being together in the family room for 8 pax! The beds were comfortable with clean linens. As it was my first time in Boracay, I didn't realize that most hotels were low-rise and were walk-up with no elevator. For 2 senior citizens in my group, it was difficult to climb to the 4th floor. Had I known, I would have requested a lower floor. For a room with 7 pax, one bathroom is insufficient. It would be better with an additional powder room. For 7 pax, a small trash bin in the bathroom is insufficient if we are to comply with the advice to not throw toilet paper in the toilet. For a room with 7 pax, there was insufficient space to hang wet clothes and towels so we hung wet items outside the room by the window. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Il Mare Sakura, particularly because of the wonderful staff, and it was close enough to the beach and the restaurants. Thank you, Sakura staff!

Bad location, low over head, toiletries are old towels and beddings. But the staff are really nice.. I had to checkout early and move to a different hotel. Only stayed for 1 night of the 6 days that I paid for. It was very disappointing hence I cannot get my money back for the rest of the days that I paid for.

The hotel is located off the beat and path, in a quiet, secluded area. The staff couldn’t be more accommodating and friendly. Also, the staff was extremely helpful in coordinating activities and arranging laundry service. Breakfast was typical Filipino style, but different every day, which was refreshing! The room was simple and clean with a comfortable bed. I highly recommend this hotel for the frugal travelers looking to make the most of their vacation!

Rate was cheap so i should not expect much. Still need to enter a narrow road to reach the hotel. Its not just parallel to the beach. Its a street behind the main road. Towels are old dark white and has holes. Service is very very good. Very polite and friendly. Toilet seat is moving. Pool tiles some parts are broken and looks dirty already. If on a budget this is a good place to stay

Upon arrival, we were given a delicious welcome drink. The desk staff was very kind and attentive, they insisted upon carrying our bags up to our room (there is no elevator). The room was very clean, the shower had good water pressure and warm water. The staff was always cleaning the general areas as well. The breakfast buffet was good, and was free. No complaints, everything was great!

The facility is better than the other same category hotels. They’re clean and well kept. The staffs are great, they are friendly, well mannered, kind, honest and helpful. If there’s something wrong in the room or any area in the hotel, just let the staffs know they will take care of it right away. They constantly care and clean the lobby. Very attentive to the needs of their clients/guests. The facility is not a 5star facility but the staff will make you feel like you are in a 5 star hotel. I highly recommend this hotel and I will come back here the next time we come back to Boracay.

Me and my family recently stayed in this hotel and it was a very nice and the most accommodating and clean hotel I have ever stayed. The staff were so friendly and respectful and kind, they always assist us on all the things we need. Shout out to all staff at IL Mare Sakura resort… you guys are all amazing, take pride of that. Me and my family really enjoyed your company. I really appreciate you guys.
