Stayed one night, in town for a funeral, comfortable, clean, very good breakfast! Great experience, would stay here again!

Clean room & convenient location.Next door to food lion,walmart down the street,& many dining options nearby.Everything from fast food to Hall's Chophouse! Upon arrival the fridge in my room wasn't working. The female at the desk had the maintenance man put a good fridge in my room immediately. It was taken care of in about 10 minutes! The only complaint i have is i could hear the music they play outside at the entrance to the lobby all night because my room was in the front of the hotel next to the lobby. They should turn the outdoor music off or least down at a certain time at night. Other than that,i enjoyed my stay& will stay there again.

On my previous stay earlier in the month, I had a great, clean updated room.
This time I had an older room that had a musty smell. The worst was the tv remote. It was filthy. I refused to even turn it on with bare hands.

The room had 2 TVs divided by a breeze way with a desk, couch, and chair on one side and 2 queen beds on the other side. We loved the layout of the room and the shower was really nice. The room had a microwave, Kerig and small refrigerator, however, could not get the kerig to work. Good news though they serve coffe all day downstairs. The complimentary breakfast was like a buffet which was really nice. My biggest complaints are the beds are so soft we had to each pick a bed and lay diagonally. One other couple complained that there beds were too lumpy. The couch was also a disappointment because it was low to the ground cushions sunk bad while sitting.

I checked in on Tuesday night around 11:00am. The gentleman attending the desk was courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. He explained everything in detail and asked several times if I had any questions. He answered all my questions. On Wednesday after breakfast (around 8:40am…..I needed a toothbrush and I locked myself out. The desk attendant was fabulous. She was courteous, kind and efficient and took excellent care of me. I LOVED MY STAY.

The breakfast was not good. The sausage was not appealing and was salty the biscuits were hard. The coffee and the cinnamon rolls were good. Love love the pillows, the comfy bed and the walk in shower!! Will stay again if you can modify the breakfast.

What caught my attention the most was the reception we received upon arrival. Excellent. The only negative point that I notice in many hotels we have stayed at is the carpet. I can't get used to it and I find it unhygienic. You can tell that the hotel is old, but clean, overall.

Check in was less desirable when I had to speak to the front desk attendant first because she was on her phone. The hallway needed to be vacuumed.
Tv didn’t work. Took several trips to the front desk which each time the attendant was on her phone texting before I was offered to move to another room. The phone didn’t work so that’s why several trips down to the desk.At that point we were too tired to pack up to go to a different room.
Seen a huge roach in the hallway.Have a picture of the unvacuumed hallway & roach.

This hotel was the cheapest in town as of august 3rd, lady behind the counter was super nice, she let me check in at 11 am to get some sleep after 14 hours of driving with absolutely no problems, ac was ice cold , plenty of safe parking , room was as clean as can be, no complaints,will stay there again nothing but good vibes going on here, thank you very much counter lady

The room we reserved (king, accessible) was not available, due to an overstay by a customer with a longer term need. The front desk staff accommodated us in a two queen, accessible, which was not a great accommodation, but it was made to work. The staff also generously adjusted the rate.
Room was quiet, despite a full hotel. Well back from the street.
The breakfast was very decent. The pancake machine was misbehaving, but the staff knew how to 'reboot' the machine so it would emit a couple pancakes. Biscuits and sausage gravy were okay, not great. Wife wanted some fruit, but the selection of fruit was quite limited - no berries.
Room was clean. Beds were comfortable, but not superior. Air conditioning worked and was not too noisy.

I didn't like the check in process it took the lady at the front desk 20 minutes to check me in considering I had a 16 hour drive from Chicago to SouthCarolina.It was unbelievable how the manager didn't make sure her staff was well trained before she went out of town on vacation. For the price of the rooms I would expect better front desk service. My card was swiped 💳 more than 6 times and I was over charged $50 twice for the room fee.I received $50 and now the lady at the front desk said I may not receive the next $50 till 14 business days later?I received $50 now 2 days later and the $50 over pay I will get 14 business days later makes no since at all!!!Please give me the $50 you owe ASAP!!!Time to train your front desk staff better Holiday Inn Express!
