A perfect place to stay for BMT graduation. Easy driving distance to base. The rooms were super clean!

This was our second time staying at this hotel. It's very nice and quiet. We had a spacious king-size suite that was clean and comfortable. We reported an issue with the bathroom door not closing properly. We were there six nights and it was never fixed. Although we didn't use them, there are a lot of nice amenities like a fitness room and indoor pool. The sundry area where you can purchase various items including food, snacks, and drinks was nice and well stocked. We travel to San Antonio often to visit family, and we would stay at this hotel again.

Rooms were clean, check in staff were very awesome and knowledgeable of the area. I wish trash had been picked up from room daily and towels restocked. I will definitely recoomend staying here.

DON'T BOOK HERE. NO GUARANTEED ROOM.
We booked a suite here four months in advance for Air Force BMT graduation. We travelled from Colorado. Upon arrival for check-in, we were told our reservation had been cancelled and they had no rooms available. They were (luckily) able to "comp" us a room in a lesser hotel further away from the base. I'm still trying to get a partial refund from them.

This was the best option for being close the Air Force base. It was only about 5-8 minutes from there. If we ever come back to this area will would prolly stay here again.

The front desk was so nice and accomodating and the lobby was alway spotless and smelled very clean! Rooms were nice and beds were comfy!

This hotel exceeded our expectations. It was super clean, had a back patio we spent many evenings at, is close to Lackland AFB, and on the 4th, they served free food and drinks to all hotel customers. Would HIGHLY recommend.

Room and stay we're great, but had an issue in the parking lot the final night. I would still recommend, but park in the back where the entrance gate locks and security stands.

The hotel was very well staffed with very nice employees who offered assistance at any chance that they saw us the pool was clean and easily accessible, and the area was better than most around. It was very close to the Air Force Base, which was our main purpose of the trip.. also the full kitchen and dishes, etc. was very convenient along with a full-size fridge. N our price range. This was definitely the safest hotel close to Lackland Air Force Base by far. Had several people report that they took the loss and switched hotels for the safety of their family

The staff was super friendly, and the room was very clean. It was quiet, and no problems whatsoever. A convenient snack/drinks/necessity store on the first floor came in handy too. I was there for my son's graduation from Air Force BMT. Candlewood Suites Lackland was only a 4 minute drive from Luke East Gate on base. It was wonderful! A I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hotel.

We had never stayed at a Candlewood property. Although the surrounding area was not well-kept, we were pleasantly surprised at the roominess and cleanliness of our suite. The staff was attentive and friendly and maintained contact by text to ensure that our stay was going well.
