We had a great stay at Pension Larrea, in fact we extended our stay. Its a great location, super clean, nice very comfortable rooms, and with a friendly welcome and host. Recommended.

Room and shared bathroom were spotlessly clean, it’s right above some bars but the windows blocked a lot of the noise out so it was pretty good all in all. Bed was very comfy too.

Great location, and a very comfortable stay. Staff was very nice. It can get a bit noisy on the streets in the evening, but that is also part of the fun. If windows are closed, I didnt have a problem. I would highly recommend Pension Larrea if you are looking for a nice, down to earth place to stay.

Perfect location, great staff. Rooms on the street can be very noisy until 5 am during a festival or on a weekend. Great value in San Sebastián!

-Well situated in San Sebastian, but with the inconvenience that it was noisy. Not only from the streets, but also from the floor above, where people seemed to be either partying or moving furnitures until 1AM. -The guy at the "reception" (a counter) forgot to tell me the WIFI code, when I arrived, and was not there at supposedly "opening hours" to give it to me afterwards; I had to ask to some people from another room. -The morning after my night I had friends arriving at San Sebastian, and they came to leave their luggage before we go take a coffee, and we went back to get the luggage just before chekout : the guy made me a little scene about that, which was ridiculous... -The place is clean.

It is right in the center of all activities so it is probably common that most hotels there have shared entrance and bath. The owner is nice to offer us a bigger room and discount parking ticket.

This was an excellent place from which to explore San Sebastian, great ocation right in the heart of the old town. Have seen some negative reviews of this place from people that think it is a hotel, it is a pension (a converted apartment) with a shared bathroom etc. The facilities were very clean and this is perfect for a place to get your head down whilst enjoying all of the things around. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. Finally the windows were great at keeping all of the sound out from the busy streets below.

This property has only shared bathrooms, not en-suite as shown in the Hotels.com listing. However, everything is absolutely spotless and very attractively maintained. Be aware that it is located in a car-free section of the old town, so plan to park in a nearby parking and walk with your luggage at least four or five blocks. Surrounded by pintxo bars, restaurants, and other stores. Very, very fun, and a great location!

So convenient to everything in San Sebastián - beach cafes old town

I wanted to experience the pinchos of San Sebastien - this is right in the center of all the bars!!

We loved our stay in San Sebastián and the hotel was situated right in the middle of the old town among all of the amazing pintxos bars. It was a short walk to the beach and mount urgull and was a cheap taxi fare to the train station. The rooms and shared bathrooms were always kept clean and the staff were super friendly and spoke exceptional English. If I had to pick one thing it would be the doorbell that often rings and sometimes no staff around to answer. Otherwise it was a lovely cosy place to stay and we were very happy with the cleanliness, service and location

Such a great location. Walking distance from the train station, beach and everything else is right outside your door step. The rooms are clean and nice looking. It gets loud outside at night but the windows shut do an excellent job at muffling the sound. The owners were friendly and accommodating. 10/10 would stay here again or recommend to a friend.
