Convenient location

The location of this property was perfect for me, its close to almost all your needs. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

they require EUR100 for additional incomes in the room but I don't see any reason for that.

This hotel was so pretty, aesthetic and luxuriously clean. Rooms are very spacious and cozy. The hotels location is so convenient, right in the heart of Rotterdam - 10 second walk to shopping outlet, a variety of restaurants, bars & nightclubs. Staff were very friendly and helpful. 12/10 definitely recommend!!!

Overall, I had a great stay at the James Hotel in Rotterdam (I was there a few days for an event). It's close to many stores and restaurants, the staff is friendly, and they have a convenient area to buy food and supplies on the 2nd floor.

The room conditions is very good but have a little bit noisy from nearby construction site at early morning

Super fancy and nice Hotel! The room was stunning and very big and comfortable. The style was totally my type and we were very close to all sight seeing spots in Rotterdam. We did not need to use public transportation at any point. Some good restaurants are within 5 min by foot. Only the shower had some dark spots within the corners. Might happen but could be cleaned to make the whole experience in this place perfect. Only negative thing! Except that I would choose this hotel again for every further trip. Stayed already a few times in Rotterdam and had horrible experiences but “The James” is a high class hotel for an affordable price. Thanks for having me!

A great hotel with patient and attentive front desk staff. The location is excellent, with easy access to transportation, convenience stores, and a wide variety of restaurants. Highly recommended for your stay!

Nice hotel

In the middle of the city centre. You can do everything by feet! Perfect hotel with an amazing view over Rotterdam from the 18th floor!! Clean and friendly staff. Can absolutely recommend it.

When I entered the room for the first time, there was already something in the trash can. They did not clean off. However, the staff was friendly.

The James is a lovely hotel, close to Central Station and an easy walk into the centre of Rotterdam. Staff were all really helpful and spoke great English. Would definitely recommend for a stay in Rotterdam.

I like this hotel. The room is clean and has good space. I would give it a perfect rating if the reception girl was friendly. I dealt with three front dest staff, the first one when we checked in did not make me feel welcome, no smiling, no extra word. In other two occasions, the front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

Great stay in central Rotterdam. Hotel was very spacious, with everything you need including great aircon and a fridge (rare in Europe). There is also a shared dining area and shop. Bed was very comfortable and the aircon worked very well. Staff were lovely.

Modern hotel in hartje Rotterdam

In relation to the cost of this hotel, it is excellent. Good position, beatiful room and the food hall at the 2th floor it’s very comfortable. If we’ll come back to Rotterdam, for sure this hotel will be our choose again.

This is a very average hotel. Pictures look a lot better than what you actually get. I got the superior double room. It was quite small - the bed took up most of the space and you couldn’t really get around it to the other side. Kind of had to shimmy around the edges. There are very few plugs for some reason. No conditioner or lotion in the bathroom. Toilet was separate from the bathroom which was nice… nobody helped me with my massive bags they just gave me a trolley. Second floor has a lounge where you can get plates and stuff and snacks which is great, you pay yourself there. It’s good for the price that I paid, but definitely not a 4 star.

The James Hotel is beautiful. The staff were friendly and upgraded our room. The gym facilities are well kept and clean. The room was spacious and clean.

Add city tax on my Expedia booking when I come. “Miss taking“ to give lower category room for my booking when I check in. Front desk staff in the day when I check out, was rude, careless and refusing to give her name for this review.
