La Reserva is one of the best places i have stayed at abroad. I recommend anyone to book a room there. It's conveniently located and safe. Most importantly, gorgeous and serene. Staff goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is memorable. Much appreciations for Johns. He provided great insights on places to go and each of them were experiences to write about.

The property is great, small but very nice. Nice bar, great food at restaurant, friendly staff, very tropical foliage. Central location

Check was a breeze. I give a 5 Star rating to the staff and cleaned of the hotel. Hopefully we will one day return to Cuba, if we do, we will stay there again.

Great place, warm and attentive staff, nice location

Nice hotel, styled well with spacious rooms in a quiet neighbourhood. However, it seems a overpriced in comparison to other places we stayed all over Cuba for the same upmarket standard. The main issue for us was the location, it is so far out which we didn't realise on booking and is 20mins in a taxi to the old town, or just over a 1hr walk. If it's your 1st time in Havana then I would advise that you stay in the old town area, as there are better value high end boutique hotels (mr&mrs smith) and avoid costly taxis back and to. If there are other places in Vedado you plan to visit like fabrique des arts, then maybe this place is convenient for you. I would say service was OK, but often when we needed tips it was the manager who had them but she wasn't always there. Also, only the manager spoke English and we unfortunately do not speak Spanish, so there was a language barrier with other staff. It also seems like they are taking a large cut in service e.g. we asked for a tour in a classic car and were quoted $250 for a 3hr guided tour. We went into the old town in front of hotel inglaterre and cars are lined up for you to choose from and we only paid $30 for a guided tour ($55 for 2 hrs). The cash exchange they offered for gbp was the worse we had 90cup vs 120 we got elsewhere. Also they were unable to book collectivo taxis for us which was odd. Wifi also not the best. Late checkout was nice though. Hummingbirds in the garden were also beautiful. Breakfast was hit and miss.

The place is beautiful and the staffs are super friendly. The only thing was that we had to battle against mosquitos at night cuz there were so many.

Room character was exceptional. All staff were welcoming. Extremely relaxed atmosphere. A little out of the centre - but we love walking so for us - a perfect location.

Excellent all around. Staff to accommodations were top notch. We will be back and will recommend it to all of our friends and family

The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, Javier the concierge did an amazing job, with great attitude and willingness to provide top service. The rooms are very comfortable and tastefully decorated. AC and bathrooms all work fine. Great bar and breakfast.

Very nice place, but not worth the price. MANY bed and breakfasts in Havana and Cuba. We stayed at places 1/4 the price nearby that were just as nice. Only worth it compared to hotels, but that isn't how Cuba should be seen.

Beautiful restored building with gorgeous garden area which makes for a wonderful respite from heat and noise of streets of Havana. Thoughtful notes everywhere in terms of design - hummingbird amid the flowers, a gecko and birds singing, something we missed when staying in old Havana. Exceptional reception from our hosts. Only drawback might be distance from main sites and limited kitchen. Extremely friendly and helpful staff.

Beautifully remodeled mansion right outside of Havana Vieja with outstanding service and amenities, including wifi which can be a challenge at particularities in Cuba

I arrived late in the evening to La Reserva and was warmly greeted. I'd had a long day of travel and was a bit out of sorts. I asked the man about the place if it was possible to have a cocktail at the bar in the stellar garden and he immediatlely provided a delicious cocktail. I glanced to my right as was surprised to see a box of cigars on the bar, for sale. After lighting a cigar and sitting down to enjoy the midnight hour in the garden, all was right with the world. My room was nice with a walk in shower and great towels. The provided wifi was especially nice because I didn't need to find the ETESCA access cards. A stellar breakfast was a great way to start the day. I felt incredibly safe at La Reserva, as I did everywere in Cuba...at all hours of the day, even when walking at night through the Havana. They helped me arrange a taxi to the bus station when my stay was over. I'll always stay at La Reserva upon arriving in Cuba. I highly recommend a few days here Thanks to you all for making my stay so comfortable.

This is seriously top class accomodation with staff that you will fall in love with! Their attention to your needs and comforts are second to none. If you are looking for an outstanding relaxing time in Cuba with all the fine details of five star accomodation this is the place you need to stay at. Every single staff member is gorgeous and helpful and friendly so be kind back because you are going to be treated like a star there
