Iloilo City Proper should be called Old Iloilo. This hotel is in the historic part of Iloilo. My room was small but functional and had a fridge. AC worked well. (Some rooms have no exterior window.) The building itself was once part of the nearby University of Iloilo. The staff are great.

I drove by the place at night a few days before my check-in. I thought i made a big mistake coming there. There were no lights and the area looked abandoned. I checked in and discovered a wonderful place with a great free breakfast at the on site restaurant, The Rabbit Hole. My only complaint was that the room had a moldy smell when the AC was not running. The AC goes off when you remove the access key from the power source. Once key is removed all the power goes off. It has to be an energy saving process. Anyway, I was there about 5 days. While i did see a couple of roaches, i didn't hold it against them. The hotel i had be this one had more roches and was less comfortable. I came to the conclusions thatthe buildings are old and connected to old structures. The staff is plentiful and very friendly. I enjoyed my stay there. I just had to tell it all.

The room we stayed was too small for 2 persons, its just enough for the bed and a little space. Its hard to move for 2 persons together at thesame time. The room has no safe. The room is clean though. Staffs in the restaurant doesnt seem to know what they are doing. We had our breakfast, i ordered a coffee, a prepared set of breakfast plate was given to my wife even if she did not ordered yet, then came my plate of food, reminded them again of my coffee, more than 20 minutes after i initially ordered my coffee, it came.
The smell in the hallway is disgusting, Air Con in the hallway and lobby is off.
The area around the hotel building is dirty, staffs are constantly reminding us when we go out to be extra careful as there’s a lot of pickpocketers around the area.

The scent of the beddings, towels, and the room itself smells beautiful (smells like coconut). The front desk were very helpful and nice. The rest of the employees were polite. Also, the whole room was really clean and comfortable. Would definitely be back here if i'm in town again.

Very nice place, near many interesting places to visit. Malls are easy accessible by jeepneys.

This is my new fave hotel in Iloilo City! The wifi connection beats the rest of Iloilo hotels! The room, amenities and massage are great. Perfect for couples or family staycation. The linens smells soo good it lingers on my mind until now haha! I'll definitely go back to this new-found charm of mine @bodintures#bodintures

Room was neat and clean. Buffet breakfast choices were limited. I did not appreciate server having to scoop food portion into your plate. Overall I had a good stay as this is a newer hotel.

The room is comfortable for one person but really small. It is centrally located but at night there are almost no dining options and the area can be a bit sketchy. The restaurant staff was obnoxious, although the front desk people were great.

Beautifully renovated old building in Iloilo City facing University of Iloilo, near Central Market, Santa Maria Church, and walking distance to the historic Calle Real. Staff are friendly and helphul.

Highly recommended,right at the heart of the old city and near the Guimaras Island if you plan to have a quick tour. Hannah helped me book my hotel for my trip to Guimaras. Excellent customer service.

Got the chance to try Goldberry Lite, a new hotel close to the Phinma University of Iloilo. The place looks like a good value for its very reasonable price. Loved the classic Ilonggo hospitality in full display, from the guard to the front desk!
Pros:
- very helpful staff. Helped us carry some heavy stuff to work.
- new, crisp clean beddings, towels
- clear, comfortable pool
Cons:
- rather small bath and toilet space
- noise coming from a small radio on the street can be heard inside the room

Love the room except for the glass wall for the bathroom. Everyone in the room can see your business and with the blind. swimming pool need water to be heated love the waterfall and the staff is very friendly and accomadating
