Not happy w/ service

Beautiful place to stay for my girlfriend and I. Very convenient location from the train station. The bed was comfortable and the whole place was very clean. There was no mini fridge only the mini bar which could only fit one bottle of wine. Overall an excellent trip but make sure to pack lightly because the stairs are no joke.

Great location and clean property. However, getting bags up to the room was quite the experience - steps from the rail station down to the marina. Followed by 3-4 stories - the initial steps are double height which makes this especially challenging. Other challenges - no early check in. Asked for porter service for way back - got a number but the contact said he does not work with this air bnb anymore. So we had to lug our luggage back. But the property is impeccable and clean and the view from the terrace is really awesome and made up for these shortcomings. Breakfast was great as well.

The location was not far from the port so you close to literally everything in town. The room was outstandingly appointed and newly remodeled.

Gorgeous and clean place with a beautiful view. It was a little difficult to find but a local was able to help us find it. There are a lot of stairs so be ready to climb!

What a stunning unit for our one night in Riomaggiore. Clean, bright, central and the view!! Wow.

Merchant informed me of a change in my reserved room at the last minute. The room was not worth what I paid for, though it was pleasant. The shower is quite nice. The Jacuzzi seems to be mostly for show.

The unit shown in the photos is not what you get. I reported this to Expedia and they have dodged it, you can only talk to virtual agents that reply in circles. They refuse to answer questions. The owner or Expedia has entered photos inconsistent with the property. For example, we picked a unit with an indoor spa tub. We received a moldy shower with a bathroom door that was broken, a heater that could not be turned off, broken rope railings to enter the unit up 4 levels of stairs that are steeper than they are wide, terrible lighting, and far short of having kitchen equipment required make anything. The photos provided were from a different unit and the condition upon arrival was far from luxury. This unit shouldn’t be more than $100 a night. Expedia won’t comment on if the owner or if Expedia is responsible for the incorrect images, nor have they corrected it on their site. Do not expect to get help from Expedia or ownership when the problems are reported. This listing is a scam.

Place overpriced. The heating was not working and there were no blankets available. Cabinets door falling apart. The entrance to the place was a working site. Sign everywhere on how much it would cost to do anything extra. Only positive experience is the little balcony with a spectacular view!

The view from the balcony is like a dream! The apartment was beautifully modern and well laid out. You’ll need to climb about 4 flights of steep stairs to arrive at the front door but it’s well worth it! Loved it, would stay again.

Absolutely loved staying here! One of my favorite places I stayed at in Italy. It really felt so comfortable, the bed and bathroom were so nice. Loved the view of the water and town from the balcony. It was magical to wake up to the sunrise and ocean view. Perfect location. Highly recommend staying here!

This property is well located with a beautiful view. Be prepared, there are steep steps to get into the apartment and you have to carry your luggage up several steep flights of stairs. But if you are ok with that, then you will love it.

Comfortable space and good location, with probably some of the best views in Riomaggiore. Property was more than adequate for our short stay and exploration of the area. Property is somewhat challenging to negotiate with lots of luggage, but fortunately, there is a porter service who is able to help with bags. However, the incredible view and the convenience in allowing us to see the town early in the morning prior to the masses arriving, made this property well worth the 4 flights of stairs!

We had a fantastic stay. The location was perfect. The view was picturesque, and the breakfast was superb. I was worried after I booked; I saw some bad reviews on this place that it was a scam. It is NOT a scam; you need to be smart and read your emails. Check-in is contactless, but it is all laid out in a welcome letter by email and worked flawlessly. The staff was super responsive to WhatsApp texts, and we had a fantastic trip. I will definitely stay with them again. And encourage the same. We had front-row seating at the marina and an incredible sunset. The breakfast was terrific as well. They catered to my dietary needs and made it the perfect stay. Once at the B&B, the ferry and train will get you everywhere you need to go. My only warning is that the stairs to this place are narrow and steep, but I will do it again for that view. Parking is off-site, but it is manageable to get to and from the parking and B&B.

Fantastic location! Only parking opportunity is a parking garage at the entrance of the village. It would have been great to get this info from the hotel in order to avoid confusion when arriving. I asked the hotel about parking, but the response was not clear enough and we still had to stop and ask people where we were allowed to park. Also, when parked, pack lightly! It’s a tough walk down. Especially if you follow the route suggested by Google Maps which you shouldn’t!!! Google suggests the shortest route which is stairs only (tough if you have heavy luggage). It is much better to follow the main road outside the parking garage down to the marina!!! At least then you can drag your luggage (if it has wheels). It would have been nice to get this info from the hotel! There is also a luggage service available (approximately 10 Euros per bag) which is so totally worth it! Again, would have been nice to get this info from the hotel! Also, the hotel requires you to send pictures of your passport over WhatsApp which made me very uncomfortable. But the room is awesome and location is great!

Incredible stay at La Vista, one of the best nights sleep I got in Italy. Room was spacious and comfortable, AC was the best we had during our whole trip. The breakfast service was lovely too. My only suggestion would be to be mindful of the stairs up to the room, they are dark and steep.

Access to room is not clean or safe, room except for a few details is very clean and nice. There is no receptionist. Looking at othe properties in the area this is probably one of the best

The view from the terrace in honeymoon suite is absolutely stunning. That alone is worth staying there. The room was very clean, the bed was nice, and the amenities were very good. Just like all the other hotels in Riomaggiore, though, there are so many steps! Be sure to pack light to climb up those stairs.

Great apartment! Perfect for couples or small family. Great, simplistic design with queen bed in loft and queen bed in separate back bedroom. Amenities were spot on! Balcony with table and chairs. Lots of steep stairs to access if mobility is a concern.

Riomaggiore is a pedestrian village, so you need to be prepared to carry the luggage through a number of stairs to the village and up to the fourth floor.

A flat with very good view, probably recently refreshed, confortable but with lot of utility not working well like protectionsola, kettle,... And it was very difficult to get information from owner before, about the parking (public parking NOT free and fare), accès to the appartements with not information to found the best way and limit

We LOVED the location of this property! The view from the balcony is perfect if the city of Riomaggiore, and right on on the ocean front. It was a very short walk from the train station (5 minutes or less) but there are many steep stairs to get to this hotel room. The hike to the top was worth the view! This hotel was beautiful and a great taste of Italy!

We loved the position and the magnificent view. I was a pleasure just to sit on the balcony, enjoy a coffee or spritz and soak up the scene

Beautifully refurbished suite! I highly recommend this room if you’re staring in Riomaggiore. The room has a very modern vibe, but you walk out on the private terrace and see the old charm of the village.

excellent property. small balcony but in 5terre everything is small. top floor sunset view was excellent. overall a nice experience. could use napkins in the kitchen area.
