Air-conditioning needs adjustment. The air outlet points directly at the bed and can make people uncomfortable while sleeping.
The room looks directly at another hotel which blocks view to the water.

It was an overall pleasant stay. Location was excellent as it was just a few minutes walk from Jiaoxi train station. The Japanese style hotel room was spacious and clean, with a private bath tub. The semibuffet breakfast was decent. We experienced the Hualien earthquake just before check-out. The staff members remained professional and helpful, addressed to our needs patiently although we could feel their anxiety which is very reasonable.

The bathroom is still using small bottle of single use shampoo conditioner and bath foam. Not only is it not environmentally friendly, it also doesnt make sense since it is a onsen hotel and customers are expected to take bath multiple times, it is troublesome to ask for replenishment

1. Dinner needs to charge 1200 NTD per person in hotels.com, but hotel only offer standard 800 NTD dinner, it is very unreasonable and strange.
2. Breakfast main course is not very good for everyone, no other choices in breakfast.

The place was extremely clean and well-maintained. Location was very convenient if you take public transport and plenty of parking spaces if you choose to drive. Staff was polite and accommodated most of our request.

Both service and amenities are awesome. After checking in at the front desk, the staff guided us to the room and introduced how to utilize/ reserve their facilities during COVID. We stayed in Superior Double Room, the bathtub is huge, and the dressing table is also big. Breakfast is set menu, we chose to dine in and it was great.

The hotel was beautiful, and our room was spacious. We used both the communal and private baths, and they were large and clean. The only downside to the hotel was that it doesn't seem to have heating. It was pretty cold in the dining hall where we had breakfast.
