Great hotel. Very comfortable, fantastic rooms, very helpful staff and nice pool area. Very modern with great showers and room amenities. Good location (15 minute walk to centre or a quick scooter ride). Would recommend.

Artotel was so amazing - it was clean, affordable, and the location was easy to get to a lot of different places (either walking or simple to get a taxi). but more importantly - the staff was INCREDIBLE. they were there for anything i needed - friendly, helpful, amazing. i can not say enough things. everyone was great but specifically two people Dwija and Gede just helped me with anything. I would stay here over and over for the staff.

There’s no gym but to be honest for the price you are paying; the value is damn good do you can’t fault it. The property and room is top notch (but sound proofing might be an issue). Too notch in the sense of the room size; the design and insta worthiness of the whole place. Property is also conveniently located, so it is easy to go around ubud. Food wise; the restaurant next to it which Artotel partners to bring you breakfast is a great place to eat; the kombucha and flan donuts are a must try!

The hotel is located in a rather quiet part of Ubud, to walk to the city center it takes around 10-15 min. The next supermarket is 5min away. Breakfast is included in the café next door, however, each guest will just get to choose one breakfast item + drink. These items are rather small for someone who prefers a bigger breakfast. The room is absolutely gorgeous as well as the pool. In general, the hotel is really small and has more of a boutique vibe. Many travellers here are 20 - 40 years old and there are pretty much no young children.

Decor, location, staff and location - close to Monkey Forest

I sray at G/F of Studio 30, just next to the swimming pool. Hotel design is modern. 50% discoount offering on SPA and also the service experience was good. Although the swimming pool is small but since not much ppl and having sun shine there, it was good.The position of room setting is wrong, Breakfast option can be more.

Wow, what an incredible hotel. It was everything I hoped for in a relaxing stay. Location is walkable to the center of Ubud shopping and restaurants, but far enough outside the chaos. I chose it also because it's on a main road and easy to access by car. It's a small boutique-style hotel but the rooms are big and had a little patio facing nature. The bed was very comfortable and oh my goodness the rain shower was amazing. They provide slippers in the room and a small area to hang your clothes. AC was nice and cold. Water was warm and pressure was perfect. I used the pool once which was clean and refreshing. They offer guests 50% off spa services on the 3rd floor so my friend and I took advantage of it. I got 2 massages and 1 body scrub from Oming. She was professional, kind, did amazing bodywork. She even came on her day off to do my scrub. The front desk staff were always helpful and on hand for our questions or requests. The restaurant next door - Full Circle - is soooo good. We had breakfast there each morning, included with our booking, and the whole menu was delicious. The coffee is by Expat Roasters, and is fantastic. The staff remembered us each day, the decor was on point, music vibes was fire, and of course very convenient while staying at the hotel. Don't hesitate to book this hotel. You will not regret it.

A good balance between traditional ballenese hospitability/feel and todays expectations of modern service industry! The location also meant easy access to many interesting areas in ubud such as sacred monkey forest and ubud centre.

I liked the modern design and the privacy of the room with a little terrace (too bad there was no natural light nor any view out of the ground floor). I appreciated the nice modern Cafe next door with good food at relatively reasonable prices for a “trendy” place... The service was good and friendly but occasionally irregular.I did not use the small pool which was too close to the entrance (probably due to a lack of space).Overall, a nice stay.

Had a great stay here. Very clean, and friendly staff. Room well set up. Only complaints are: 1. If you're on the street side can be a little loud 2. No body soap/gel in shower

The Artotel chain is fantastic. This hotel has personality and great accommodations. The room I stayed in was truly perfect, large, comfortable, all I could have wanted. The art painted on the walls was colorful and vibrant and the customer service amazing. It is not too far of a walk to town, and getting drivers in the area was very easy. Highly recommend this location and taking advantage of their rooftop yoga! I took a class and the instructor was the best! I was able to tell him how it was my first time in a "live" class (versus online following videos) and he gave modifications for me as a beginner.

Property was a good, modern hotel in Ubud. Located approximately 10 minutes walk away from the main strip, the location is relatively quiet. The room was spacious and comfortable, but I did find the odd ant roaming the floor, despite me being on the third floor. Wifi was fairly good at the hotel, as was the complimentary breakfast. The only suggestion I would give regarding breakfast is to offer some traditional meals at the restaurant (although in Ubud, catering to foreigners' tastes seems to be a common theme). The staff were friendly and generally helpful, which was a nice bonus. There was also a pool and some sun chairs, but I did not use so I could not comment on them. Overall, it was a good stay and good value for money.

I did like the location of the property and it was very clean. Water was replaced each day and the staff were all very helpful. I was lucky and had a lovely room away from the street noise. My friend wasn't and found it almost impossible to sleep. Other than that no complaints at all. The little cafe attached to the hotel where we had breakfast each morning was very nice too but a couple of vegan options would be great.
