This is a great spot for meeting fellow travelers and organizing tours from. Like others have said, definitely a party hostel with free drinks from 7-11 pm. The private room bed we had was pretty hard, so a little rough sleep. Breakfast and coffee included in your stay. There are quite a few restaurants nearby or its an easy ride into El Nido town proper.

I felt a little overwhelmed when I first got there (I like to party but I also appreciate some quiet time), however it turned out fine: just ask for a dorm far from the common area. Staff is super nice (just like everywhere in the Philippines). Wifi was very spotty + Don't book your tours or travels through this hostel, as they take a commission (just go to all the nearby travel agents).

The host, Paul, has an excellent vibe and is very welcoming. There are lots of young people at the Hostel and it would be easy to meet people if you tried. The rooms are in very good condition, as well as the bathrooms (there is even hot water!). The staff will go the extra mile for you every time! My only gripe was that the staff did not offer to clean your room or empty the bins unless you specifically asked them to - the staff should take initiative to enter the rooms and clear the bins, sweep the floors and change the sheets/blankets! However, the bathrooms are cleaned regularly. A great place overall! The Wifi doesn't really work.
