Smack in the middle of Hanoi old quarter. Quirky hotel. Breakfast was good. Excellent value. Very friendly staff. Enjoyed our stay immensely.

Upgraded to a bigger room & free foot massage. Bed was huge with lovely mattress and pillows- we live white sheets and towels. Nice hot shower, good location for train street and good choice for breakfast. Lovely welcoming staff. Would stay here again.Good WiFi

The staff were efficient as and courteous at at all times. They organised a number of activities for me including trips to Sapa and Halong Bay, and exceeded expectations in both cases. Lily was particularly in my case and made sure everything wasn't planned and executed perfectly. A great experience.

This hotel has been exceptional and really impressive. As a hotels.com gold member, I was treated like a VIP from start to finish. I got a free massage and late 2pm check-out. The staff are really friendly and are seeking to help you in any way they can. The rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable. The price is extremely good value. Only small negative was the breakfast was mostly finished when we arrived but that was mainly my own fault for getting up later - would advise to get down a bit earlier and not right before it closes! Overall a great stay and would stay here again if ever in Hanoi again.

It was a great experience all throughout the stay! The room was clean and had everything we needed, it was quite at night(very important in Hanoi) with an easy access from the main road. The employees were very attentive and always up to help, especially the receptionists - 'Ms.Lily' - were very warm-hearted and helped out in every way (arriving at and leaving the hotel, what to do, what to eat, local tips, explanations for culture backgrounds etc.). The stay at this hotel made the whole trip very satisfying. I'd definitely stay here again next time!! Thank you Ms. Lily ;)

Wonderful hotel, we extended our stay for a total of 4 nights and even booked a room for our family. Great staff, clean rooms, and nice breakfast buffet. A steal for the price! within walking distance to everything.

We've stayed here for a few different nights on our trip around Vietnam so far. The staff are very helpful, and could also offer tips for trips and tour services they were efficient and the service is excellent. The hotel is clean and the rooms are modern and well equipped. I enjoyed staying here and definitely would again. The breakfast spread is pretty good and offers an omlette bar which I appreciated.

Absolutely. Amazing. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with free water and fresh fruit every day. Amenities were great, including a variety of foods for breakfast. Location is right downtown in Hanoi, with great nightlife and lots to do for a few days. Most of all, the staff was so accommodating - they make sure to answer all your questions and have plenty of recommendations for things to do. They were very enthusiastic in making us feel like home, helped us with our luggage, and called taxis for us as well. Overall, highly recommend, and definitely stay here if you are coming to Hanoi!

The staff here is so attentive! Especially Lilly who helped me organize two sightseeing trips to Ha Long Bat and Ninh Binh. I always felt that she was handling my concerns and was always available to communicate through WhatsAp. My trip to Hanoi was a success because of Lilly.

Just truly remarkable service - from the welcome drink, to recommendations from the front desk, including a private escort to help us find our way to a local restaurant, to the first class breakfast. Top shelf!

Service was friendly and very helpful. Stay was great for the money however I wouldn’t give the hotel 4 stars only because it’s not a 4 star hotel. Price is right though!!

This is a very new hotel so it is exceptionally clean and comfortable. The rooms are a great size, with nice ensuites. The breakfast are quite good but maybe need a few more pastry options. All the staff were very friendly and helpful especially Lily. The location is also ideal for visiting Hoan Kiem lake area.

This hotel was excellent. We all loved the interior design. Our room also had a garden which was full of grass. We took a bath near the garden and we had a wonderful view watching outside through the windows beside the bath tub.

Good location and the staffs are very friendly and helpful. Love the balcony but it can be improved since it will not be favourable during raining days.

We are travelers from the US and was lucky enough to stayed at Shining Boutique Hotel and Spa for 6 nights during September 2019. Hospitality is amazing and the best we've ever experienced (even compared to America's five stars hotels). All the staffs are welcoming, supportive, and informative. The staffs even surprised me with a birthday cake and room decor, which was unexpected and very much appreciated since I was far from my families and friends. I cannot wait to visit Hanoi again, just to stay at Shining Boutique :)

Amazing hotel right in the heart of Hanoi! Exceptional hospitality by all who work there. The rooms are very clean and new and cozy. Wifi is excellent too. The breakfast is big and with a great selection of food. Laundry service is inexpensive and quick through the hotel. They will book your daily excursions and call taxis for you to get you the best rates. I have absolutely no complaints about this hotel a 10/10 for us! Is a new build hotel with clean and comfortable bed. Price per night is reasonable. Locate near old quarter surrounded with good foods. Beside has BBQ which can give a try. Friendly and helpful staff. With their help able to get a cab to airport during peak period. Hotel breakfast is good, nothing much to complaint with. Plus point - early check in 10am after come back from sapa town. Definitely will stay again in this hotel for next Hanoi trip.

Shining Boutique Hotel and Spa is a delightful place to stay. From the check-in to the spa services to the arrangements for check-out and departure, all were handled courteously and efficiently. Everyone, from the bellhop to the housekeepers to the front desk staff was friendly and engaging. Although we made the reservation just 24 hours before arrival, our well laid out room as exactly as requested, with city views and queen bed. All the fixtures and furnishings are fresh and up to date. We were provided with a very helpful map of nearby things to do and restaurant suggestions, which were very good. During our stay, my husband and I used several spa treatments and we were very pleased. I highly recommend the collagen facial (my husband says I look 5 years younger), the 75 minute foot treatment, and the massage with hot stones. These were all very reasonably priced as well as effective. Breakfasts featured a wide assortment of Eastern and Western dishes on the buffet, as well as made to order eggs and omelettes. Fresh juices, coffees, teas and pastries are also available. Everything was fresh and delicious. Shining Boutique and Spa is a tremendous value in the heart of vibrant Hanoi. I highly recommend it!
