Pretty run down, dirty floors, uncomfortable pillows! We got a room close to loud music being played outside in a bar. It went till midnight, was a big nuisance. No elevator but the security person helps out. For this price, get another hotel. Not worth it in my opinion.

They refused my friends a room despite having a confirmed reservstion. This made me want to give up my room and cancel it as well so I could go elsewhere and stay with them and be togehter in a new country. They said they cannot cancel my reservation either becuase its against the policy. They twist their policy to their benefit. They did not get back to me after they said that they would check with their manager. I did not use the bed or even the bathroom. The room was left intact so i could leave with my friends and they could sell.the room to someone else

Had to change room because of noon working AC. The room was clean and bed comfortable and AC worked well. Don't expect hot water...it was less than Luke's quality in the shower and the water pressure was no bueno. Breakfast was plantains and scrambled eggs with some fruit, coffee/tea. Friendly staff, but the property is rundown.

This is my second time at this hotel. This time I stayed two nights. The hotel was very comfortable. It’s clean and everyone is friendly. I was so concerned because I’m afraid of lizards and the staff made sure I didn’t have any in my room! 😅 thanks guys!

The room was clean and spacious. It however needs more secludedness. i could hear others in the hallway means the could have heard me in my room. The room was tidy but yet after my first sue of the toiled my bottom itched and got a rash.

Property was ok. Slight mosquito issue and the jet tub needs maintenance. The breakfast was good and the location is very central. Had no issues with safety.

For Guyana it's ok but not up to western standards. Pros: location, air con and shower room. Cons: dreary room with limited view, waiting to be served breakfast, no lift (it has 3 floors). Ok for a couple of nights but not for staying any longer.

Room smell bad.

The biggest problem was the absence of an elevator and the second was the noise of construction. One should not rent out rooms in a construction zone of the building. The rooms are small and the beds are loaded with static. In the night you see sparks all over the bed due to static of the bedware, linnen etc…

A bar at the ground floor of this hotel. Extremely Noisy at night which disturb my sleep

All good except the fact that there is elevator. That is a real disadvantage for guests. Relying on a person to take lugage up and down is not an option.

I had talked to the hotel by phone and text about 3 times to verify if they would have a shuttle to pick me up at the airport at 2am. They stated that the shuttle would be there and asked for the flight number. I asked them how would I know who there driver was and they stated he would be holding a hotel sign. US Embassy had stated that Guyana was rated 3 out of 5 for danger so I wanted to make sure I had a shuttle and wouldn't be robbed and killed. They stated it would be $70 USD for the shuttle which I agreed to. I arrived and walked out of the airport and there was no hotel shuttle there to pick me up. I called the hotel and they stated that they didn't send anyone to pick me up. Great!! No what am i to do? The hotel staff stated to get a yellow cab (airport cab) but there were no yellow cabs to be seen anywhere. A private taxi operator said he could take me to the hotel and the hotel staff told me if I was ok taking a private cab. Well, I don't really have a choice if I want to get to the hotel. I took the ride and he charged me $50 USD to take me to the hotel. So does the hotel care about their foreign visitors? I don't think so since they couldn't even let me know that they wouldn't be able to supply a hotel shuttle and to make other arrangements. My in-laws stated that they were disappointed to hear that I took a private cab since that is very dangerous and that they could have picked me up. The curry at lunch on Thursday was really good.
