Nice accommation in Centro de Havana with specious room.

The host is not nice and cares about money only. This area is ver noisy and dirty.

The treatment from employees was marvelous!! Really helpful, just wish I had brought something to give out to them.

The property was very clean and staff were lovely. They made sure you were ok, gave you great advice and support on the local area and made sure you stayed safe (I was travelling alone). The area is very very close to the centre and most people on the street were very friendly but the surrounding streets are a bit questionable with the people around.

Very comfortable bedroom staff are so helpful the owner also Every thing is perfect , just feel at home 😁

Really enjoyed my stay at the Hostal Neptuno 1905! I can definitely recommend this place for everyone who wants to stay in a central location in Havanna! Pros: the staff is incredibly nice and helpful the room was big, clean and the bed was comfortable good air conditioning (you‘ll need it!) european sockets and several usb connections to charge your phone etc. you can exchange money at a good rate in the hotel not much noise in my room, this might be different to the rooms facing the street though Cons: - pretty much only the surrounding streets. Very noisy and full of trash and scammers. I guess that‘s what you get when you want to stay in the city centre

Hostal Neptuno 1915 was a great place to stay

Best place ever. Frank and Anne are outstanding employees. They made Havana very enjoyable.. they had all the answers. The Neptuno is beautiful..It is Like staying in a beautiful museum. They made it easy to want to come back.❤️❤️❤️ Nanette Skelly

I would recommend this centrally located, pleasant, safe and comfortable place with professional, friendly English speaking staff. The only downside are noisy rooms facing the street where some people may shout outside for much of the night and the rather lame breakfast. Come on guys, you can do the breakfast better…

perfect location and unique place :-)

As a solo female traveler from the United States this place was in a great location and the room and amenities were great. The woman at the front was so helpful and kind and great at helping you navigate Havana. A tip for US citizens though, this hostel uses European plug adapters with 2 prongs, make sure you pack some. I would also try to stay away from the street as it is a little noisy at night. Either way this was a great place to stay, especially for the price.

All in all i did enjoy my stay. The pros: near most attractions. We were able to walk basically everywhere and your next to a lot of cabs and buses. Restaurants everywhere. My favorite was nardos Lovely property. The room was very well decorated and the view is magazine worthy. The staff was quite sweet as well.ana went above and beyond to help us as well as the rest of the staff. Cons: we had a lot of mosques in the room. The bulk if my bites were from my room. I saw other comments about the noise level, so yes, it is noisy at night but it didn't bother me much. I am from nyc so it's not a problem. Its not the hotels fault, the people on the street just don't...shut up. Make sure you exchange your money beforehand or confirm they have money exchange available. We spent our first few hours walking through the town trying to find somewhere to exchange USD before the guy who was supposed to exchange our money wasn't available.wifi stinks... but they will do their best to accommodate when you ask. A few hiccups but i would stay here again.

Hostal Neptuno felt like home by the time I left (I spent overall 11 nights there, in three different rooms). The staff is really, helpful and approachable: they went above and beyond to support me, providing information on how to best get around Havana, arranging super quick laundry services and booking collectivos for me. The hostal is in a colonial building with a recently refurbished outside that stands out from the surroundings buildings, and is perfectly located to visit Habana Vieja: the area is also really safe. The rooms are pretty modern for Cuban standards (bathrooms included): I found a good level of cleanliness and attention to detail that made me feel comfortable during my stay. Some of the rooms have a very nice balcony from which you can observe the life of the city, which I found very interesting, and the rooftop terrace is also a pleasant area to spend some time more peacefully and away from the city "liveliness". The only note, do not expect good wifi, as it is unfortunately the cases in many places in the country! Overall really recommended to enjoy Havana's capturing life!

It's usual situation for hostal in Havana - 21th century inside and 19th outside. Neptuno street is very busy and local cars are very loud... As windows are not soundproof - you need ear plugs to sleep. The rooms in patio are better

Mi paso por el Hostal Neptuno 1915 fue excelente, me senti segura y bien cuidada en todo momento, mi habitacion era muy acojedora y limpia, realmente como se ve en las fotos, el colchon y la almohada de 10 para mi espalda ya que tengo problemas y la cama era mi gran temor, pero tuve una grata sorpresa con ella. El servicio del personal fue super bueno, me sentia como en mi propia casa, ellos estaban siempre disponibles para cualquier cosa que yo necesitara. Los dueños tambien muy atentos con migo. La ubicacion es buenisima, todo lo que tienes que visitar en la ciudad esta en los alrrededores. (Recomendable 100x100) Solo una queja, el wife no esta disponible 24h.

The location of this place is great, a short walk from Hotel Inglaterra and I felt safe in the area. The roof terrace is nice and the decor in the hotel is wonderful. The room is really nice and generally clean but the toilet could have been cleaner. I arrived early and they accommodated an early check in. There is no lift and about two flights of narrow stairs. The owner was very nice. On the negative side, I found some of the staff pretty rude. I asked if there was a communal shower I could possibly use after check out and before a long night flight. There was a communal bathroom but they seemed really unhappy about me doing this, they did allow it in the end if I used my own towel. I didn't understand the need to be difficult for this and it wasn't very hospitable. (Note that during my stay there was a temporary problem with hot water and they asked me to shower elsewhere which was fine with me, but in turn, it was not fine with them when I wanted to use this shower before my flight. They sorted out the water problem quickly). On my last day, one of the staff was knocking on my door 15 mins before my check out time to tell me that I needed to go. I had to show him my reservation to confirm the check out time. Probably wouldn't stay here again because of the poor service.

Marvellous gem in the heart of Havana. Would recommend and stay there again. Staff is very polite and helpful and helped us exchange money, buy cigars and got us great breakfast drinks (all things we asked for as they’re not pushy). The house has a better collection of art than most museums and even wifi. A no brainer!
