Perfect for our needs

The toilet would not flush for the night of our stay. We called to the desk and got no answer. The sink fixture was broken and barely functional. We called to the front desk several times and got no answer. During check out, we waited 30 minutes to be serviced and the front desk associate was on her personal phone and eating in the breakfast area.

Greeted warmly at reception, hotel and room were very clean and updated. Bed was comfortable, including sofa bed.

They state they do room service every other day, that is simply not true. I had a major issue with the drain in my shower not draining (by the end of a shower I was standing in ankle deep water that would take hours to drain). I tried to bring this to the attention of the morning front desk member, had to go find him eating food in the kitchen (pretty sure a violation of health code) and then he brought his food to the front desk, acted bothered, and said he would have it fixed. That didn't happen, luckily when I got back to the hotel that evening the lovely front desk agent made it her priority to track down drain-o. She delivered it to my room so I could handle the clogged drain myself, as there was no maintenance person around and I wasn't going to make her do it. Overall this Hilton Property needs discover what Hospitality means. Will Never stay here again, and I am in Lynchburg a lot for work.

As a pet friendly property I would have expected a grassy area vs mulch. Very disappointed that I had to walk over to the adjacent property to find a small strip of grass. The breakfast space very small and then congested with folks trying to maneuver. Lacked plates, utensils and bowls. Learned later that 3 people called out so very understaffed due to that. Would recommend a 2nd door in bathroom area for privacy from bedroom space.

I would suggest cleaning the vent above the toilet, looks kinda nasty, but overall very clean and comfortable

Front desk checkin was excellent! Happy hour attendant was exceptional.

Beautiful hotel, great location. The manager Sasha was wonderful. She went out of her way to make her guests happy.

I absolutely love, love this hotel. It was so quiet and relaxed. The rooms were huge and they had a kitchen. Bathroom was so clean. I will always come back here.

My wife and I enjoy ours stay very much easy check in and wonderful. Complimentary hot Breakfast was very delicious the room was nice and spacious but I do feel like it was a bit over priced

Never had a room refresh all week, which is important when you travel as much as I do. Staff was polite but not friendly. Breakfast was a let down.

Our stay was great. The room was clean and comfortable and there was more than enough space for our family. Will definitely book again in the future.

The hotel is very clean. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The morning breakfast was very good and there was plenty of seating.

After an excellent stay at Homewood Suites in Arlington DC we had high hopes. On arrival we were asked for a credit card for incidentals but was shocked when they tried to charge us $938 for the stay! We advised that it was prepaid through Hotels.com but was told it wasn’t so had to show the credit card bill & printout before the manager came and said it was ok. We wanted to do some washing so went to the laundry room loaded one of the machines only to be told by another guest that is was broken and that the hotel knew but hadn’t put a notice on the machine so a waste of detergent. The managed offered for us to go to the Hilton Gardens next door but when we got there one machine was broken and the other had so much grime we would not use it. Finally got to use a machine and the manager gave us coins & detergent. The bin outside the lift wasn’t emptied for 3 days. Breakfast was not good, the bananas were going black and were there for the whole of our stay. The hot water tasted of coffee so we had to ask for hot water from the kitchen The staff were very nice and did get us the water. On arrival we were given a room on the 4th floor and although was was spacious & comfortable the noise & vibration of the train going past at 03:00 did wake us up. Overall one of the worst Homewood Suites we have stayed in which is a shame as it could be so much better.

Hi, our stay was good. The people were friendly and very welcoming. However, our room seemed to not have any clean dishes. There was a note, on the dishwasher, to let them know if we needed some and the dishes inside were dirty. The refrigerator and dishwasher were also dirty, as if they hadn’t been wiped down. There was also tape on the wall, above the living room window, attached to a piece of something (not sure what it was) as if someone had a party but couldn’t get that piece down. It want bad enough to give them bad rating, but is definitely worth mentioning.

Staff were super friendly and kind. Breakfast was very good and room was perfect for our quick visit!

The hotel staff was awesome and the hotel itself was very clean. Only downfall was the pool is not as big as pictured, therefore it was crowded.

First time staying at this property but we will definitely be back. Very nice rooms and breakfast was excellent with fresh cut up fruit.

The staff member at check in was friendly and personable. The room was generously sized for my family. Both mornings at breakfast, we were waiting for silverware to be replenished

Sasha was the absolute best and really was there for me during a difficult time. She was so helpful and helped me many times during my stay here. Also want to thank the nice lady in the breakfast area—she gave me a brownie and always wished me a “good morning” when I’d come down for my tea and breakfast. Everyone there is just a great group of people. Much appreciated. THE best place to stay in Lynchburg!! Love y’all! Thank you.
