The interior is beautiful, the bedroom was very nice, great bed. The owners are the nicest couple. Breakfast was delicious and served, sit down! Not a buffet style. Very nice. We'll be back.

Where do we begin! The owners are fantastic! The food was scrumptious and presentation was outstanding. The location is great, safe environment, walkable to things in town, very clean inn, lots to see and do! Just a wonderful experience and we look forward to our return to visit again with Rebecca and Charles! The Blue Heron Inn is quite an asset to Amelia Island! Fabulous stay at the Blue Heron. The property is beautiful, the hosts most helpful. We loved the breakfast and 5pm glass of wine. Couldn't fault the facilities in any way. Bed was comfy, beach equipment and restaurant booking available, one street away from downtown, what more could you want? Definitely recommend.

It is a lovely property run by a very nice couple. The house is furnished with very nice antiques and the rooms are lovely. The breakfasts were big and delicious. We would definitely recommend this bed and breakfast.

Great service! David and Julie really makes you feel at home. Beautiful house with that ‘old’ style charm that we love to find in a B&B.

We really enjoyed our weekend stay at the Blue Heron Inn. The location is perfect for walking around the downtown area with many restaurants and shops close by. We were able to park our car at the Inn and barely needed it again. There is ample parking in their private lot, and parking is permitted on the street in front of the Inn. The house is historic and beautifully decorated, with a mix of antiques and contemporary furnishings so that its history is evident, but feels open and modern (and extremely clean!) at the same time. The innkeepers, Julie and David are extremely charming and hospitable. The breakfasts were perfect- and I really enjoyed the 5pm Beer/Wine Happy Hour in the main room where you can mix with the host and other guests. We stayed in the Heron Room on the first floor. I loved the light and airy ambiance in that room. All in all, from the moment we entered, from initial welcome, to our leave -taking, we felt like friends and so, we will be back!

An upscale B and B

David and Julie were born to be B&B hosts. You feel their warmth and pleasantness in every room. Breakfast each morning was delicious and beautifully presented. Our 5 o’clock social gave us an opportunity to meet others. We enjoyed relaxing times on the porch, and rest in our room. Looking forward to returning.

David and Julie are consummate hosts! I altered my departure plans because I didn't want to miss one of Julie's breakfasts! Our room was magnificent, clean and so comfortable. They were very attentive but super cool and laid back at the same time. The house itself is a gem. Location is perfect and the pool is the cherry on the sundae! We can't wait to return!

My wife and I went to Blue Heron Inn for our anniversary. The Inn is close to downtown and the shopping but not to close that if you like quiet you can find the peace. The Inn keepers made delicious breakfast for us each morning and are very welcoming to everyone. HIGHLY recommend.

We loved our stay at the Blue Heron Inn! The owners were very attentive, friendly and shared lots of tips and advice. The Inn is in perfect condition, clean and comfortable. It has a homey feel, is spacious and perfectly located. We could get around walking! Near great restaurants and entertainment. Our room was amazing! Great themed decor, comfortable bed, luxurious bedding and superb spa like toiletries. The service was amazing! They have a great assortment of coffees and teas through the day, and the breakfast is out of this world! It is what you would call a gourmet breakfast. We loved every minute there and will be back for sure! Thank you Julie and David!

Beautiful décor, lots of special touches for guests, like candies, home baked cookies and a Mini refrigerator with water and snacks and 24 access to coffee and tea.Excellent location for walking around the historic area

The place is clean and beautiful, the owners friendly and accommodating, the location is perfect, and the amenities were excellent. They went out of their way to really take care of us; even had gluten-free food with little to no notice(shame on me!) that was absolutely fantastic and so delicious! We would recommend this property to anyone, and will definitely be back!
