Room door did not have security view. One set of curtains that were not blackout. No sheer curtains so could not let natural light in without exposing view into entire room. Could not open windows because screens were ripped with big hole openings. Room very small and because could not open curtains, was like living in a basement. One flimsy desk chair, no other place to sit except in bed, which had deformed mattress. No hot water out of sink, even after running tap for 15 minutes. Warm water in shower after about 15 minutes. We visited on a Saturday and Sunday and all day both days a backhoe was running all day long, very noisy and disruptive. Had to leave the room both days just to get some peace and quiet. The room smelled weird as did the bedsheets, pillows and towels. It was an odd scent that stayed on our clothing. Not a fresh scent. AC unit was so loud, we could not hear tv even on full volume. We stayed in the room because sleeping in our car was not an option. We picked this place because of the good ratings and now sorry we stayed here. Our experience was unpleasant and we could not wait to leave.

Very quiet little retro motel vibe. Updated with vinyl flooring, new paint, and fixtures. Bed was simple and the sheets were stained so we ran to the nearest Walmart and bought some clearance sheets/pillow cases to use on top. Front office staff was polite, with few words exchanged. Be warned every room has at least 3 small steps for entrance. We were not aware and had a member with knee trouble that managed, but we would have chosen a different lodging option had we known.

Very noisy all night, sounded like people were bowling in the rooms on the left & the right. Pay more & stay at a nicer place

The suite was spacious and clean… newly renovated. The property was really nice and a renovated throwback to an earlier decade. Cool little spot. Would stay again.

The room was very clean. There were tiles missing in the bathroom wall however, and no towel holder Easy fixes and probably on the list of repairs

Stayed for a night on our way home from Boston, ended up exploring New Port the next morning. Only about a 25 minute drive from NP and our room was clean, spacious, and our only issue was one outlet didn’t work but there was ample others in the room to use! No complaints, would absolutely recommend.

Easy to get to wedding

You never know what you will get when booking a last minute overnight. The room was clean, bright and nicely decorated. It had a few extras like a shower cap, toothbrush and paste. Coffee, the little things that mean a lot. Beautiful flowers on the property and it was quiet. Very well maintained. Not too far from Bristol RI which was the focus of our visit

We had a wonderful stay at Founder's Brook. The room was all brand new and very clean. It was quiet and had good air-conditioning. I called the office with requests, a remote and extra bedding, and both were provided immediately. This is where i will stay every time I visit Roger Williams!

Uncomfortable bed in a closet atmosphere

We loved it! The room was so nice. Loved the decor/vibe. Loved the bedroom was seperate from living area. Our only dislike was the AC units placement kept all nice and cool except the bedroom. Other than that we loved it and would come back!

This motel is immaculate. The property is lovely and the room was so clean and comfortable. Very pleased with the experience all around.

The only thing missing was bottled water from the front desk but the owner was very kind and went and filled up my water bottle from her apartment next door.

Very clean, spacious, quiet and upscale motel. The beds are very comfortable, the bathroom large and well-lit. The nautical decor is charming. Toiletries are good quality, too. I would certainly return.

We ordered a room with a Queen size bed but it seemed like a Full. Other than that, the stay was fine.

It was quiet and the bed was very comfortable, we slept well. The inside was roomy enough for two but there was a little bit of a smell lingering when we got there, not terribly unpleasant and might have been the cleaning product because it dissipated soon after. A few pieces of furniture could use an upgrade.

Staff nice, place quiet, neat as a pin...things looked neat and new, cute decorating. Convenient to highways. The bed was on the low side, my boyfriend is tall so he banged his shins a couple times...smaller room, nice sized bathroom newly done. Touches like coffee, toiletries etc.

this was our fourth or fifth time staying here. beautiful grounds, and very clean rooms! Will definitely be back again.

Clean and away from all the traffic.

It was a beautiful location conviently located near the highway. Only problem was the bathroom door did not seem to close all the way. It could have been from humidity but unable to do.

Modern and renovated room. Clean property close to Newport and Bristol. I was assigned the wrong room at check out.

It was a beautiful and very comfortable place to stay. Would definitely recommend and come back.

The big thing that I appreciate about any place I stay is cleanliness, and Founder's Brook was very clean. The property was very well kept and nicely landscaped. Check-in/parking was very easy. The only thing that I would suggest is to tame down the whatever scent is used as it was very strong and might not agree with anyone with lung issues. Other than that, 10/10. I would definitely stay there again.
