The place is great. However, be aware that parking is very difficult and can get a bit pricey and a ways away from the hotel. Also it’s a 4th floor walk-up in case you’re physically challenged.

Pros: great location. Affordable, small but nice room w en-suite great recommendations on restaurants and activities. Shower had great pressure and was nice Cons: this is partially my fault and Mother Nature as it was 90+ degrees F and I figured it wouldn’t be an issue in a 200 year old building. I’d love to stay there again in any season but summer, but you can’t stay here in august as there’s no air. You are provided with an 8 inch fan. I had a dilemma as my room faced the river(a great view was another pro) but if I closed the windows it would be unbearable and if I left them open-which I had to-I’d be swarmed with bugs-which I was. I ended up putting the fan next to me and slept on top of the covers with the bugs. They landed on me all night as there’s a lamp light directly to the right of my window when you look out. The sheets weren’t changed in 4 days I was there but I didn’t go to the front desk to complain as I was on tours each day and it didn’t open until 10 and was closed by the time I got back. It was one of the most uncomfortable stays I’ve had in Europe yet I want to make clear that I’d stay there in cooler weather. Maybe the listing should make it clear that due to no air it’s a hard stay so be prepared.

We enjoyed staying here. It was close to everywhere we wanted to go in the city. Staff was friendly. The only drawback was no air conditioning, but we knew this when we booked. We did open a window for a bit, but it was too nosey to leave open. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Great location for all of the sights and sounds of Ljubljana. Staff are really helpful. On the third floor with only steps to reach it, but everything is clean and comfortable. Recommended

This was a very comfortable room in a historic building. Very quiet and peaceful, but close to restaurants and shops. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Hope to stay here again some day!

We really liked the hotel, but the shower leaked water all over the floor; there was no way to keep water from flooding the bathroom. Also, people should know that the hotel is up three or four flights of steps.

I would absolutely recommend staying here if you want a very walkable area, clean room, super comfy bed & I got lucky with a great view of the river. Amazing stay!

If you are into personal rooms with a vintage vibe this is your Place to stay in Ljubljana.
Great location on the edge of the Old city. Lots of life and restaurants just around the Corner, but still quiet in the appartment. Spacious bathroom and Well-equipped kitchen.
Nice and clean.
Highly recommended.

Extremely cute room, great location, excellent staff. Room was spatious, and had everything one might need: TV, fridge, micowave, kettle, coffee, tea and a great bathroom. No AC, but great, retro-designed fan was available. The only negative was that pillows were really thick and hard, and the bed was making loud noises if you move even a bit, so it kept us waking up the whole night. But again, location and everything else is as good as it gets!

The hotel was located on the 3rd floor of a building and had no elevator. It wasn’t a big deal for us, but is important for people to know when carrying luggage up 3 flights of old, slightly uneven wooden stairs. The room was super plain. Seemingly, an ikea bed and table. No a/c, but they did have a fan. The shower head did not hold in place and so kept sliding down low. The hotel is in a good location for walking

We spent 3 night in Galeria River and below are our feedback:
1- Location: Amazing
a-15 minutes walk from the main train/bus station.
b-10-20 minutes walk from every attraction in the city.
c- Restaurants available on each corner.
2- Room: Amazing and clean, we only had a small problem with hot water which was fixed on spot.

This apartment-style hotel had an absolutely great location and the rooms were nice and flexible with lots of amenities. The staff were very nice and the building is beautiful.

This building is in an amazing location, right on the river in old town. The staff was exceptional and attentive.
Our room was bright and spacious in some areas but quite small in the sleeping area. The bed was so uncomfortable, it was so hard. This is an old building so there aren’t very many convenient plugs.
I do believe the location makes this place so good.

Very basic hotel, but in a way we liked it. Located in third floor (many steps,no elevator). The room and bathroom were pretty big. A small fridge, waterboiler, microwave oven. Do you want coffee, bring your own, they just have tea. The staff were helpful, and had good knowledge. Maps guided us to the wrong side of the river, and its hard to find parking in the area. You can find paid parking a few hundred metrrs away. Park before you go to the hotel.

Cozy place at the center directly at the Ljubljanica river. It is two floor of an old and renivated building. We choosed a room with a river view and it totally worth the extra few euros. The room was really spacious, bathroom looks nice however the amount and quality of toiletries are limited. The only major issue that the bet mattress was uncimfirtabke, however big enough.

If you arrive by car, this is a pedestrian only zone so you need to go around to find a parking place. We had it 5min in foot south along the river in Zona2

Stayed at this small hotel for a week recently. It’s like the pictures, newly renovated and my room equipped with a small kitchen so that I could cook at times. Ljubljana is a very small town. The location of the hotel is on the edge if the town center but everything is within 10-15min walk. Shuttle bus from the airport is about 30min.
Staff are very friendly here and toiletries are adequate. The only thing that I would complain is the WiFi. The network is so bad that I got disconnected everyday few minutes at the worst period.
