I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel! The property is newly renovated with modern decor. Bed was comfortable , staff very friendly. We were able to extend for a late check for a small fee ($50) so that we can catch the last flight out. I appreciated that they let us even stay even later than the time. Overall this was a great stay and I would stay here again.

I stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Portland East recently and was pretty disappointed with the experience. The room I got was dirty and noisy, and it took forever to check in. The staff was not very friendly and didn’t seem to want to help. I already shared my feedback with the property and at least got an apology letter. But it definitely left an impression that I wasn’t welcomed there.

On the outside it looked like a nice hotel, but the inside of the room was gross and poorly maintained. Our shower stall had what looked like razor blade gashes all around the basin and the towels and bed sheets were dirty. Gross.

This was a fun place. The staff seemed to know each other well and enjoy each other’s company. We definitely had problems, like our room didn’t have the pull out bed for our son and he had to sleep on the floor. It was pretty noisy right under a flight path and there were super loud doors, so we had trouble sleeping. But overall being around people who seemed happy and well connected made these problems feel smaller. Not the nicest place, but the nicest people.

The hotel is short on staff. We had to come to the reception to pick bedding for our sofa bed. Other than that, the staff present are polite. Room was clean. Breakfast options were good.

I didn't understand why there was a charge of $10.00 a day to park your vehicle when they have their own parking lot. Struck me as odd. It is surrounded by corporate warehouse businesses like Boeing and off the hiway. Seemed a bit greedy.

The property looks good and is clean. Staff was polite and friendly. Walls are extremely thin. You hear everything from the surrounding rooms and hall. Not very relaxing.

This Marriott is a convenient location to the Portland airport, the Columbia River Gorge and the Mt Hood Scenic Loop which is why we were in the area. Very clean and what you'd expect from the Marriot chain.

Very nice staff and rooms. Don’t really understand why they need to charge $10/ day to park in suburban Troutdale. Seems like a silly charge.

Front desk and Bistro staff are super friendly. Property is very well kept and clean. Room was spacious and up to date.

Room as clean and as expected. Unfortunately there were only 2 towels in the bathroom- we had to ask for more. We were not aware also that room service does not come daily. They said every other day- then they didn’t show up on the 2nd day. Can’t reach front desk for help or towels.

The hotel and immediate area around it were fine. Go a little further afield for restaurants or shopping and the area was a little rundown. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was great, but the location was just OK.

Hotel is really clean and has a great atmosphere. Pool and jacuzzi were amazing. The gym is also very nice. Highly recommended. This is the place to stay that is out of the hustle and bussle of downtown Portland but still perfectly convenient and near some really great adventures.

Super clean building and very clean rooms. They need an extra staff person there during check in waves to help the line go faster but good customer service. My only issue was no bath soap in the shower dispenser, it was empty. Luckily I brought my own.

I love this property but too bad I didn’t get to stay here… I paid and booked a nice king suite because I enjoy this hotel and when I finally arrived tired and to check in…. They said sorry to inform me but maid issues and they have 30 uncleaned dirty rooms… so they sent me across the street with a letter to stay in a king bed room at the other hotel…. Which I didn’t enjoy wasn’t clean wasn’t nice at all super old and outdated.

Everything was great except the mattresses I would say are the worst part. For the newness of this hotel I would’ve thought the beds would’ve been better. Other than that highly recommend and will consider a stay again in the future!

This is a good hotel. First time I stayed. I'm inclined to stay there again. Quiet and generally clean. However, two things: the hot tub was way too hot to enter, maybe its me, but I go to the hot tubs in all the many hotels I stay in. And several hours after I made coffee, ants showed up, and were a pain to get rid of.

I booked for a queen bed with a sofa bed and didnt get that also the curtains in the room were broken and ripped definitely need to be replaced. After being told there would be no cleaning service I had a rude awakening to loud knocking at 8am then having cleaning service enter the room because she had the room on her cleaning list. No instruction as to where to leave trash. Were told it would take an hour before we could get clean towels.

Unfortunately, transits no security other than the cameras that they have, which is good because they get to see if something happens to you at least they get to see who did it to you a motorhomes set outside since I arrived on Thursday who knows how long it had been there before and every day was a car giving the motorhome eight jumpstart and people lingering outside the motorhome which I know we’re not reciting at the hotel but I guess it always happens to somebody right so can’t Really judge

Beds & pillows were a bit firm and hotel noises was a bit loud. Fine for a night, wouldn’t stay longer.
