Sonder apartment is very well placed and was really comfortable. Has all you need. My only negative impression were the excessive charges for checking in between one and three hours before 4pm. I believe is not a good detail charging extra if the apartment is ready as it is already quite costly. They did not reply messages via Hotels.com

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Clean and well appointed rooms. Easy walk to major tourist stops but with a more neighborhood feel.

On a 2 week Euro-trip, this was my fav stay. The staff was friendly, the place was easy to navigate. No issues with any outlets or appliances. Shopping & food was closeby - we didn't use transit once just because it was THAT walkable. Will def be coming back the next time I come to Edinburgh. Will also look into other Sonder properties when traveling!

Great location and space but poor standard for the price point. We had a two bed apartment for a family of four (two adults and two children) and were impressed by the information and process pre-arrival and on the app. Didn’t really need service during our stay but staff were friendly. However, the finish, maintenance and quality of the building and apartment was very poor considering the price point and that it only opened last year. For example, a piece of the sash window came off (it wasn’t fully tightened) when we opened the window (almost hitting my little one), the panels on the radiators kept falling off, the dishwasher could only open a quarter of the way (!) because of the skirting board positioning, the shower wouldn’t drain properly, skirting boards were coming away from the wall at many places. Beds and pillows were uncomfortable. And WiFi connection was almost non-existent.

Staying at a location like this really made a once in a lifetime trip even more special. Clean. Tastefully decorated. Came with all of the amenities you can need—and the location was so nice. Managing to be nestled between old town and new town—a quiet space overlooking a gorgeous garden. Close to shops and some incredible dining—and truly steps away from public transit. The staff were always friendly and engaging and prompt in assisting with any of our needs. We will absolutely keep Sonder on our radar for any of our future travels no matter the location. The attention to detail and friendly service goes such a long way.
