The third floor of the hotel smelled like sewer gas and mildew. Mostly sewer gas. And, this was not a light smell it was extremely heavy. A person staying in 2 rooms over mentioned it to me the following morning. He and I were both complaining of headaches on the elevator which struck up the conversation. The smell was not so bad the following night ... I did mention it to the front desk and they said that they were aware of the problem and have had out plumbers, general contractors, etc. to look at the problem. They said it comes and goes. Had I not been exhausted from my day when I checked in I probably would have gone to another hotel. Very nice front desk people but you guys really should not put guest on the floors with issues when you are aware of it (as noted by the front desk_).

Anything we were concerned about is the slippery tile and shower floors. We had to put towels in the shower so we wouldn’t fall. I’d get this looked at and soon before someone falls.

We stayed after the hurricane knocked our electricity out when my husband was getting worried about my post-hurricane sanity (or lack thereof). The hotel was a godsend. It was clean, cool, it had electricity, and the indoor pool was wonderful. Best if all, the staff were wonderful: patient, kind, helpful, and did a fantastic job under incredibly trying circumstances. I highly recommend it.

Person acted like she didn’t have time for me. Plus a $30 extra charge to check in early. Other La Quintas aren’t like that. Not again.

Check in was amazing! The front desk clerk was great! She was super nice and explained everything. Property is in excellence shape and very clean! There are several stores near the hotel Walmart, H-E-B etc. several restaurants are near all kinds of choices!

The room was clean. Front desk staff was cordial and helpful. However, the neighbors across from me was very noisy from 6-8am. I could not rest.

Nice stay, clean room.
Unfortunately Hurricane Beryl hit during our 2 day stay, but the staff still coped ok. Power went on and off a few times but no total loss of power. They still managed a great breakfast.

The refrigerator is so small I can’t hold a 12pack of drinks. Asked if we could get a larger one and was told that the hotel is not for transients which I’m here on work and not on fema vouchers. Yet treated like I don’t really matter and I will be here for a while. There is no shade over the outdoor seating area. The privacy lock on the door is broke. Breakfast is good. The night staff is very nice.

To start we arrived 1 & 1/2 hours early (light traffic) to see if it would be possible to check-in, and the Manager was not only "NOT" accommodating, but was totally rude...almost offended to the question. Secondly, there was an open bar in the Hotel.com add the La Quinta (again totally not applicable). Room was not clean, and the water pressure was not able to wash your hands, not even to expect a shower....The AC controls had some unknown moisture that was UNCLEAN !!!!

We had a hurricane in our area, which knocked out tour electricity. We were fortunate enough to find a room here. It was spotless, the staff were wonderful, and breakfast was great. As an added bonus, they have an indoor pool! It was a wonderful experience.

My reservation was “cancelled” because the card on file was declined. No phone call, email, or any kind of communication was made to me. Ended up having to pay $70 more for the room I reserved.

We had a smell that gave us all a headaches, couldnt get more towels, only had one, and most of times couldn't dins help

Room had two towels for three people staying. Tried to call to get more towels and the phone did not work. When it was time to sleep the AC just stopped and it was 90 degrees outside. Soap provided was so small that you could wash your upper body when you shower. Also one trash can for the whole room with no recycling.

Was given a room that clearly had not been cleaned. The beds were made as if they had been changed. There was hair on the sheets and the comforters were dirty. Pool had a lot of hair floating in it and was the water was cloudy. The rooms had a bad smell to them. We were given another room.

Expensive rate. We needed a hotel post hurricane as we just embarked from our Royal Caribbean cruise. The hotel was grossly understaffed. We arrived at 7/9/24 and left at 3am on 7/10 and we are still waiting for them to email our receipt to us. Tried to call many times but unable to get through. Can u please help ? I understand it was during a bad week due to the storm ... it was not ready till 2 hours later it was fine they gave us the room we stayed there for 15 minutes and had to leave due to a really bad smell odor idk what it was

My family stay for 3 nights & hotel was full. The room 309 had a terrible smell, i asked for extra pillows, small soap, shampoo, conditioner they were all mini bottles and asked said they didnt have any. The breakfast was 3 out of 5 stars they kept running out stuff didnt have sugar, no vanilla flower & they only 2 fruits available was apple & oranges. They only had waffles to make, scramble egss, sausage, oatmael, bread, bagels, mini muffins, orange juice, apple juice, milk, coffee & decaf coffee. The pictures are old. I had stay in several la quinta hotels at different city & states and this is the worst hotel I have stay.

Room had a musty smell. I was contact by staff while i was on plane. They left voice mail saying i needed to contact them immediately cause my card declined. Room was prepaid ! ? I knew i was arriving late the reason i booked and paid ahead. When i arrived clerk was waiting and i ask why they where running my card she stated they where trying to check me in ahead cause night staff didn't know how. I was in a panic when i got message think my room was canceled.
