Was alittle disappointed that you had to paid for parking. Shower head was broken,no cold water in fridge. it was a comfortable stay

I am a repeat customer so that speaks volumes. Wi-fi connectivity is variable depending on where in the facility you are based. This is a problem. My initial request for a walk-in shower had not been noted but was immediately attended to by the receptionist. My booking had been made 3 months prior. A reminder call a week prior is worthwhile.

The staff member on reception changed and upgraded our room as the first had no tv or view. much happier with second option.

A great hotel with super friendly staff, a "can do" manager who even dealt successfully with cooing pigeons (!) and a super big and modern room - can't fault it really.

Really nice and modern. Rooms were good size (we booked a 3 bedroom one).
Very happy with amenities and bedding, nice a comfy. Only thing we found a bit annoying was the music from down below at The Rocks Bar. Bit noisy but finished at 11pm so that was good.

The room we had was lovely, modern and clean with nice views across the city. I had requested a quiet room and was given a room on the 5th floor but unfortunately the restaurant/bar that is downstairs was extremely noisy until nearly midnight. What would have been a lovely stay was ruined by lack of sleep.

While the property is very well managed, I was surprised to find out at check in that a surcharge would be applied because I was paying with a Visa card. In addition I found that there was a $15.00 charge per night for parking. Neither of these policies were clearly explained in the on line information about the hotel.

The parking fee should not have costs people staying at the hotel. The hotel should have complimentary bottled water in our stay. The king bed was hard as and went home very disillusion about our stay.

A group of us stayed in the Oaks for a night after the recommendation of a friend who lived in Toowoomba. Quite easy to find, nice modern building.
The young lady at the reception was awesome, we arrived late at night and she had such a great, positive attitude and got us to our rooms promptly with no hassle. We all really appreciated that after a big day of driving.

My AC in the room (433) was not the best, but that was the only small negative issue.

Great place to stay, had a 2 room apartment booked, was very expensive and I had to go back to reception to get a key to power the second room!

We had a very pleasant stay in a nice, comfortable, and roomy room and would definitely stay again. We were wanting something close to The Empire Theatre and it was a lot closer than expected so walking there and to restaurants was extremely easy even if you are unfit!
I was however disappointed that we didn't realise that we could park on the street without payment on Saturday after 11.30am and all day Sunday and therefore was charged $15 for parking at the hotel - when I originally made a booking through Wotif there was no information regarding parking.

Clean, simple place to stay overnight in Toowoomba. Rooms were a good size and parking is easy but not free.

Great spot in Toowoomba close to shops. Paid parking however large parking area across from hotel is free and mostly empty on weekend.

Location was great, paid for room and Breakfast, don’t bother with breakfast, 3 staff members stood behind counter, wasn’t explained what was available really bad service and when breakfast arrived it was terrible

The room was a bit worn, the free off street parking cost $15, the air conditioner was ineffective and turned off every time you open the balcony door, turning it back on was not automatic and a slow process, the ac also did not cool the room so we were lucky there was a breeze! The sofa was worn and stained and the bathroom

The friendly, helpful and caring staff. We had last minute change to the holiday's plan and had to shortened the stay and between hotel and Expedia support the booking was amended and one night charge was fully refunded. Check-in and check out experience were pleasant despite the hotel having reduced staff and that it was a big Christmas holiday.
