I’ll start with the good: we were able to book this room in Nantucket about 6 weeks out. There’s cute furniture in the hotel and the overall vibe is in line with pictures. When we arrived, there’s no person to greet you and you check in on an iPad. We met a lady who may have been house manager or house keeping or some random woman - not sure, never had an introduction. The room was small but we expected that. The furniture was too big for the room and poorly thought out. Why was there no luggage rack? It’s a small room so having our luggage on floor was annoying. There’s no phone in the room and the number that was given was for the main life house so we had no way of contacting someone for help. We wanted to see if we could upgrade room but not an option. We were told there was no bottled water in the hotel. How is this possible?! The bathroom smelled like mildew. The air conditioning was loud and barely kept the room cool. Overall there was no service. They offer a golden hour drink, or so they said but we asked about it to the lady downstairs and were given a weird look then warm wine in a coup. If you’re coming to Nantucket, try another hotel in this price point.

While this property was clean, and the area convenient, there were many downfalls. As it was originally a house, these rooms are quite small and there are accessibility issues. As well, it is quite noisy with some of the rooms having bathrooms outside their rooms and people going back and forth. Our air conditioning did not work properly the whole trip, and no one was successful at fixing it. The staff, while pleasant, must have been new, and knew relatively nothing about the area. If you are looking for more of a hotel experience, this is not your accommodation. I would not stay here again.

Overall decent stay at the Life House Nantucket. We were placed in a room on the main floor near the entrance which was especially noisy and were woken up every day by other guests (especially someone's screaming baby). The interior design was cool and the bed was comfy but the noise and lack of on-site complimentary bikes (they're $35/day each) means I will likely not be coming back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Life House! The room was clean and well decorated and the bed and pillows were so comfortable! The staff was always helpful and super friendly. Chris helped us with recommendations and checked in with us often to make sure we had what we needed. The breakfast is also delicious! A great place to stay in Nantucket!

It’s been over twenty years since we’ve been here. The staff is pleasant, courteous and welcoming. The facility is quaint, clean and extremely cozy.

Our stay was beyond. Beyond what you need, want, and probably desire with an active mind. McKenzie was the hostess with the mostest. We actually didn’t spend the most time at the property, but the time spent was the best.

Delightfully furnished and comfortable! Although small, it was so pretty that the size of the room/bathroom didn't bother us. Staff was gracious and helpful. Such a great aesthetic and vibe--would definitely stay again

Staff were very friendly, helpfull and courteous. Our room was exceptionally clean. A very comfortable experience.

The room was very small, hard to move around, no folding or luggage stand, so we had to put our carry on on the floor and the worst part was the bathroom. Water will not drain properly, so I had to wait a while and let it drain every couple minutes while taking a shower.

The staff at Life House was the most courteous, friendly, and accommodating I’ve ever experienced in all my years of travel. They made us truly feel like we were part of their family!

Celso and Maddie are very hospitable, and always greeting us with a smile. Delicious cocktails and s'mores at night, and light breakfast in the morning. Only bummer was no bikes available for use, but we rented downtown. Overall a must stay experience you won't forget!

Beautiful property with incredibly kind staff who made us feel welcomed and relaxed

Life House was exceptional. The team are so hospitable and accommodating. Amazing start to the day with coffee in the living room and great outdoor space with a fire for a cocktail before heading out for dinner. Located on a quiet residential street, with a short walk to restaurants, shops, and beaches. We will certainly be back and would highly recommend Life House.
