Cleanliness, and polite workers but the Wi-Fi was slow

A really good option for central Kampala: clean, reasonable food, good value, great location. Rooms very small, nothing remarkably good or bad - except the "gym" which is a few weights and a couple of cardio machines in two of the very small rooms. Note to management - if you can't do a gym properly don't do it at all. I'd stay here again but not pack the exercise gear.

This is a fresh and modern hotel in the middle of Kampala with high standard on service, good food, very nice and quiet rooms

The service is astonishing and the breakfast is superb

Its in a very quiet place but also the idea of not havving a room service to some extent loved it to minimise movement by staff on resident floors hence have a peace and quiet stay. Also , install Dstv , imagine staying in a suite and watch local channels. Otherwise, I loved my weekend staycation.

I elected to stay at The new Onomo Hotel Kampala after a great experience at the Onomo Hotel Kigali. The location in the suburb of Nakasero is ideal, and makes it easy to get access. As with all hotels in Uganda it is necessary to go through a security check before entering the premises. The front of house staff were friendly welcoming and I was checked-in in no time. The hotel foyer opens out to a casual seating area adjoining the restaurant and bar, certainly a place for a casual meeting, drink or meal (I would recommend the Mbuzi burger). The hotel room is more than adequate for my stay (not sure what differentiates the ’Standard Room Italian’ form a ‘Standard Queen’ room). It was clean and modern, but I would have liked an extra set of towels rather than having to call down for them. As a new hotel, there a few teething problems largely in food and beverage department, largely to do with staff still in training. I would hope that these are sorted out as this is a pleasant hotel with a friendly casual vibe.
