Excellent condition of the hotel room, grounds, and continental breakfast

Wonderful stay. Breakfast was nice. Gym is really nice. Pool is a salt water pool. Great experience. Be back nect year.

The hotel was very loud. We could hear our neighbors upstairs and on the same floor. The doors were extremely loud when closed and if there was any activity in the hallway, it could be heard clearly in the room. room was dirty and had debris on the floor. There were not enough pillows and blankets in the room.

The hotel room and amenities were incredibly clean. The service was TERRIBLE. We tried to check in at 5 and were told our room wasn’t ready (check in started at 3) and the concierge couldn’t tell us when it would be ready. With two young kids, we felt really frustrated that there was no timing given to us so we could plan our night. The concierge and another employee were talking poorly about someone else who worked there, loudly, in front of us saying how behind and careless they were. It was uncomfortable and made us feel like the hotel was severely under staffed. Once our room was ready, we went up and got comfortable. I called down for an extra pillow and it never came. I had to go down 3 hours later to get a pillow. When I got there, the concierge (someone different) started running around the lobby looking for housekeeping. Once they found who they were looking for, they yelled for me to come down the hallway and wait outside a closed door. A few min later, someone else handed me a pillow while they were putting a case on it. It was just so weird and haphazard and uncomfortable. Later I was sitting in the lobby reading and the bar (with no bartender) was being staffed by the concierge who said she had to google how to make drinks. Overall, it felt like the hotel was barely staffed and couldn’t take care of their guests.

Very clean comfortable hotel, no issues at all

Check in staff were very nice. The lobby was decorated for the OSU 2024 graduates, which was really nice and shows their Buckeye spirit. The room was very nice with kitchen that had a large island you could sit at, an induction stove, microwave, fridge with dishes, pots and pans, utensils. The living room area was comfortable with a clean and newer sectional couch with pillows, which was also a sofa bed. Big TV on swivel for the living area or the bedroom. King size bed was comfortable. Bathroom and shower were clean with plenty of towels. There was a good size closet with safe, luggage stand, extra pillow and blanket. Next to the room door, there was another mirror with coat hooks. My view was of the bridge and the Olentangy River. It was quiet and comfortable. Whether you’re in Columbus for Buckeye event, game or graduation, this is a convenient location and very comfortable. I believe there is a pool and a gym. I didn’t have time to check those out. You are right across from the Olentangy River Trail and about a mile walk to the Ohio Stadium. My only minor issue was the housekeeper didn’t give me more regular coffee when she cleaned the room for the next morning, but I am sure I could have gotten some from the front desk.

Check-in took forever. We were told they were overbooked and would need to send us across the street to somewhere else. Then after realizing it was for multiple nights they magically found our room. We still had to wait over an hour for it to be cleaned. We arrived around 4pm and check in was at 3. I was pretty bummed our room didn’t have a peloton. The one across the hall from us did, but we were told no more were available. Took my kid to the pool one night and the chemical smell was terrible. One of the front desk people came in while we were there and also said the smell was terrible. We were only in there for about 30 minutes, but it completely bleached out and ruined all of our clothes.

I booked a room with 2 queen beds but was given a room with 1 queen bed and a pull out sofa. When i told them that wasn't the room i booked, i was informed that they were over booked and had no other rooms for me. The room was clean and looked nice but my friend and i were not able to sleep well due to the room situation.
