Really nice

Wow! Such an incredible value! Loved the location overlooking the harbor! Windows did a great job of cutting out outside noise! Breakfast & staff amazing!

It's incredibly difficult to find the hotel. The sign on the facade reads Hotel Alize. Between 2 restaurants but set much further back is a tiny awning over the door marking the entrance to Hotel LIFE Leading to a long set of circular stairs before reaching the lobby. There's a weird mildew smell throughout the property. The staff is very nice.The yoga mat in the room is a thoughtful touch and there's just enough floor space to unroll it. Although tiny the room is comfortable and sufficient.

Nice hotel & location. Our room for family of three was way too small however. Literally could hardly open door to get in/out. Sure this was due to couch pullout bed taking all space beside the platform bed. Bathroom was very nice. Would be nice room for 2 people. Don’t feel they should be selling it to accomodate more as we are experienced travellers with only one 29” suitcase for all of us and it was impossible to access it unless laying on a bed while doing so! Nice place - too small for 3+

The Hotel is directly at the harbour, great views and uncountable restaurants just directly available. The staff is incredible nice and helpful. The rooms are very modern and comfortable. I would stay here again anytime I'd come back to Marseille

There are 3 flights of stairs to reach reception. Upon arriving at reception the staff was relatively cold. This is a very basic hotel with a nice paint job. My partner discovered roaches in the trash as well. Overall I would not recommend.

Great location right on the old port. Walkable to all attractions, 1 min away from metro. Lots of shopping dining options around. Hotel itself is newly renovated and the breakfast was great.

The hotel offers so much in terms of discovering Marseille form a central location. So much to see and do and so little time to do it all. We will be back to continue our journey from the same hotel. Hotel Life😊❤👌😍we love you.

The staff was excellent!! Location was perfect.

Great location - lovely staff. Had to climb 2 flights of stairs with luggage. A helpful staff member helped us. Life available from reception upwards. Classic room was very small - bed was a pull out sofa which was quite comfortable but little space to move around. Only window was looking into breakfast room - no natural light. I saw the rooms with a port view and they were lovely. Breakfast was excellent. We would stay again in a front room with a view of outdoors.

Great location in Marseille. Easy to find. Just note that whilst rooms are comfortable, they are on the small side. We were only there for 1 night so this suited us. Plenty of restaurants & bars close by. Would recommend a stay here

Hotel was in a great location with friendly and helpful staff. Room was a little smaller than expected but nonetheless, it was good for our short stay.

Absolutely fantastic staff! Clean rooms, good breakfast. Among issues to consider: the room was really too small for a couple with 2 big travel bags. Taxi drivers can not park near the hotel, so be prepared to walk a couple of blocks. And there is no elevator from the ground floor to the 1 flooor - that was tough to bring 2 bags upstairs.

Great value for the price. Located in a very busy area, but the rooms are quiet. Perfect location for walking to many sites.

Nice hotel centrally located in the middle of the old harbour. Very central location, so that you can easily walk to sites. The room was quite small, but it was nice and clean and very peaceful even though it is situation in a budt area.

We stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel seems newly renovated, everything looked new and clean inside. Our classic room was quite small but had everything we needed and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast room had a friendly atmosphere, we liked the breakfast. The best with the hotel is the perfect location. Only issue is that there is only a lift from second floor where you’ll find the reception. Could be a problem if you have heavy luggage or have problems walking in stairs.

Beautiful property and lovely staff. I will be staying here every time I’m in marseille for more than their three-night minimum. Breakfast was excellent and some days they had extra pastries from nearby bakeries

This hotel is in a great location, right at the old pier. My room was excellent, spotlessly clean and had everything I needed. The bathroom was a decent size also. I appreciated the complementary water, given I had a long day traveling. The reception staff were very welcoming when I checked in. While my room overlooked several restaurants and bars, it was quite at nighttime. I would certainly stay here again when I next visit Marseilles.

Great view of the old port of Marseille. Excellent location -- metro and bus are available right outside. Also lots of restaurants and cafes. Clean and comfortable room, though very basic (there is no electric kettle, no cupboard; there is a clothes rack with a few hangers). For those who have trouble with stairs -- do note that you have to climb a couple of flights of stairs to reach the lift.

The location of the hotel is excellent. The staff is incredibly positive. room cleaning was good. but the rooms were extremely stuffy. There was only one window and it was not enough.
