We ended up canceling our stay and just paid for the first night. As soon as we walked in the lobby this horrible smell hits you. It was bad. Then on top of that thermy want to charge you $150 deposit, that is not mentioned on Hotels.com when you book, and another $50 to check in early. We ended up staying at Comfort Inn IN Lebanon (Mainstays is like 6miles away from main Lebanon). We would not recommend this place just from the walk into the lobby.

My biggest issue was the kitchen. There wasn’t any pans or pots to cook with. I specifically chose this hotel for the kitchen so I could cook for My kids (qty: 4) and I instead of eating out. I bought groceries to cook a simple dinner and breakfast on the stovetop only to not have any pots, pans, or utensils to cook with. Ate fruit and half of our dinner that could go in the microwave and still had to eat out for breakfast. We also didn’t have enough towels and when I went to request 2 more the young lady asked if I could bring them back after using them!! It was clean but I couldn’t use the room for why I reserved it!!

Booked for one night and ended up staying 2. Very nice location easy to get to. Staff was very nice. The elevator didn't work most of time we were there (3 Rd floor room). Breakfast is a little work for selection. Notice that stay at 2 of you properties so far this trip and several people staying there said the same thing.

Facilities were in good shape. Room could have been cleaner. Breakfast was stocked and tidy. Our kitchenette was missing the cooking pot we needed to make dinner, and it took asking 3 different people to finally get someone to retrieve a pot for us. Ultimately dinner was saved thanks to a very resourceful employee.

No fresh towels or room turnover in a 3 day stay. Bathroom was not comfortable, right next to a bed, poor exhaust fan, cracking silicon on tub.

They changed my room to benefit them said i would get credit since the room i paid for vs what I got was more expensive and never received anything. I got nothing but the run around. When ut was 9:36 I went for coffee noticed there was still some food so I grabbed a plate just to be told breakfast was over.I will NEVER stay hede again. Very disappointing.

Room was not clean (hair in bathtub, floor was dirty, hair on beds), there wasn’t enough linens for our family of 5 even though we requested more towels and such. The hotel overall did not have a nice smell and was very noisy.

This place is the nicest hotel I’ve stayed in for sometime. Nothing not to like, friendly, clean, room was awesome just like the staff. It would be Awesome if all hotels were like this one.

I would describe this place as “lipstick on a pig”. They have “renovated” but you can see how bad of a job it is and gunk and grime around the tub. You could see how the room nor the hotel were not really clean. Carpet all over and in rooms which are not clean and there is a musty smell throughout hotel and in rooms. You have to have the a/c going to keep it cool and we had a portable fan to keep the air moving to avoid the smell.
It is the type of place non of us would walk without shoes on or take a shower without flip flops. We had 4 adults scheduled in the room and they left us 4 towels and the towel for the front of tub was already wet.
We were really disappointed and felt “icky” staying there. I would not recommend

The desk clerk told me that they had a room with a walk-in shower before booking the room and after arrival they ended up not having one only a bath tub only. The employees were far from being friendly or helpfull. This has been the 4th time in as many months that I have stayed at Choice Hotels, unfortunately neither time has been a favorable experience, I will not return for a , 5th adventure, I would pay double what I paid (and it wasn't very inexpensive either) rather to stay there again.

There’s nothing unique! The building had a strong smoke smell. The room smelled like smoke in the beginning. Weird check-in policies. Maybe invest in updating the cleaning practices.
My family WILL EVER recommend this hotel.

The hotel has been renovated, but it’s not on par with similarly priced hotels in the area. The breakfast was mediocre. The desk staff were very friendly and we were happy this hotel was pet friendly. At the price point of 181$ for 2 queen beds, we expected it to be much nicer overall.

I dropped the hand soap and when I picked it up it was covered in hair and grime. Not my hair. Sheets felt pilled and worn. Not sure but the sheets felt like microfiber and not cotton.

There was a problem with the plumbing during our stay, but the staff moved us to a different room and were more then willing to accomodate our needs. This only thing was there is no hot tub. Other than that is was a very nice and comfortable stay.

The room was spacious and the beds were nice. Breakfast was good and well managed Pool Hours should be extended.

We went as a family of 6. Only had towels for three. Sofa bed had no linens. It was actually put away with jumbled up used bed sheets. Went to the desk for clean sheets and more towels. Got back to the room and turned on the tv. Within 30 seconds the screen went blank. Tried to turn off and on again. Same thing. Had a picture for about 30 seconds then blank. We were all tired so we just went to sleep. It wasn’t terrible but it definitely needs better care and upkeep.

We booked an available room for 6 people and when we asked for bedding, blanket and pillows for the sofa bed they said they didn’t have any and only had bedsheets. And the hotel was not even busy. There were only about 10 cars or less in the parking lot so to say they didnt have any extra bedding for the sofa bed was a lie. Poor communication, I had to go down to the front desk to get the bedsheets myself after I called and asked. They didn’t even say come and grab them from the front desk. I waited 10 mins then called back and asked if they were bringing it up and if I needed to go down. I also needed ice, so I went and found two ice machines that weren’t even plugged in, so no ice! This hotel had the worst service in my lifetime. Do not stay at this hotel or you will be very disappointed.

The children were upset that the pool was not in service. That was the main reason why we got this hotel was for the pool because of the winter months.

The room we had was a suite with 2 queens and a double pull out, sleeps 6. We had 5 people, 2 adults, 1 18 year-old (adult child), 2 younger children. No sheets or pillows in the room for the pull out bed, only 2 towels. For a room that should accommodate 6 people, should have enough supplies in it to accommodate 6 people, not 2.

The bathroom sink and tub had hair all over them. The cleaning staff addressed the issue promptly. The rest of the room appeared to be adequately cleaned. The pool was broken during our stay as well. The front desk lady was sweet and very helpful. Breakfast was good with plenty of options.

The hotel did not hold my reservation and said Expedia cancelled my reservation. Expedia said they did not cancel my rooms and my reserved rooms were booked to someone else. Still waiting for my refund for the rooms!

I definitely would avoid the hotel, we (family of 4) stayed for 8 nights and after 2nd day we had to ask 3 times for clean towels and toilet paper which we never received clean wash rags, on day 3 I asked for our room to cleaned which never happened. The breakfast was horrible unless you enjoy watered down sausage and eggs not to mention the rude attendant. The beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable also one night a man in parking lot walking around with huge knife and finally decided to check out pool and surprise it was closed….. definitely would not recommend this property 😡😡😡😡

Arrived into Nashville early morning, around noon went in to see if i can check in early I was really tired and Gabriela Emily helped out to get my room early, That was awesome.

Checkin was great! The desk clerk was very friendly, rooms are clean and big, and we enjoyed a nice breakfast too. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a quieter hotel. We would definitely recommend MainStay in Lebanon.

Although the hotel rooms look amazing online, they really don’t look like that. The room was clean but there were greasy finger marks everywhere. I wiped down all the wall switches and handles. They were dirty. The kitchen cabinets had a lot of grease stains on them. The staff was amazing and friendly. It was comfortable for the one night we are here.
