The hotel is in a good location, a short drive from the airport, 3 minutes walk from the train station that takes you straight into Venice S.Lucia for 3 euros one way. Our room was quite spacious but very outdated and run down. The beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable. Luckily we were so exhausted every day that we eventually managed to pass out. They cleaned the room every day which was nice and there is a small refrigerator which was handy for cold water. They are not allowed to run airco early in April and there are no fans provided so we had to sleep with the balcony door open every night, which means we could hear all the noise. On Friday night the cafe in front of the hotel had a party with DJ and tons of people until 11pm. It felt like we were in a rave. Saturday night there was another gathering again, no music but so much noise well after midnight. If this is the case every weekend, do not expect to get much sleep or go to bed early on those 2 nights. There is free parking with the hotel which is great, but it is a very tight squeeze going into the garage and driving down several levels, not to mention driving through the throng of people who gather every day at this party cafe and who look at you as if you are the inconvenience trying to drive thru them to get to the garage. The free breakfast is pretty decent, consisting of cereals, fruits, pastries, vegetables, cheeses, toast, and cold cuts. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast is horrible and apart from that they have some women who watch over you and make your breakfast more horrible than it already is, please do not go to this hotel. I recommend it. I have been in all types of hotels but I assure you that this one is not even a star, although say you have 4, NOT RECOMMENDED

Property is next to 2 great restaurants and also bars with live music on Saturday night. Clean place and comfortable for good price. Lots to see and good if you have a car to visit Venezia since it is about 30-40 min drive. Renting a car in Italy is the best thing to do.

Staff was exceptional, very helpful and friendly. Hotel is old but they keep it clean. The infrastructure is aged and needs to be replaced with something of quality. The town is amazing and easy for walking, a very clean, safe and lovely town to walk around in. Nice Italian town with lots of food options and a park to walk through. Very nice stop over to spend the night and part of a day.

Bathtub a bit too high. Getting into/out of the shower was a bit perilous.

Great price. A block and a half from the train station (20 minute ride to Venice, 1hour 20 to Verona), 14 minute taxi ride from the airport, great location! Many good restaurants around (within the 2 block ratio and literally in front of the hotel), not noisy, and I felt absolutely safe walking around alone at night, chill vibe all around. Staff was nice, attentive, and helpful. Breakfast was great and very complete! Room (and it’s bathroom) were clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable, more than enough towels were provided and there was a safe inside the room. 10/10, I would go back.

Buffet for breakfast was only full at 7:00hs. But it was served until 9:30hs. If you go near the end time, you eat what's left. Funny enough... you pay the same. Why? Air conditioning in room wouldn't go under 24.5ºC, regardless of the temperature you select in the room. Bathroom without shower glass or curtain. Showering meant flooding the bathroom. Not correctly rated as a 4 star hotel. It is barely scratching the 3 starts. We will not go back.

Safe box was broken. Receptionist said someone will come to fix it but after 4 nights no one came. On our last day when we woke up we had bed bug bites

The bathroom needs to be renovated. Also, the room had cobwebs in them. Room will only be cleaned if you ask them to. The door lock also needs to be fixed as it's a challenge opening and locking the door. I like the location as it's very close to the train station and you can reach Venice in 10-15 minutes.

2 blocks from train station. Great breakfast buffet. Awesome staff. Only Con, Air conditioning was not very strong for the room size. Would recommend.

During my stay i absolutely liked that the room was clean, it was very convenient in terms of location to go to venice. We needed to walk for 5 min or less to reach the train station which was really nice. The receptionist was decent and allowed an early check-in (by 1 hr.). However, the property has thin walls, I could hear sounds coming from the next room and from the cafes and bars right below our room but nothing is major, the hotel also serves a very poor breakfast which we didn’t even care it was within our package, also, the shower room was so small and broken but was still working (so we used it but never asked for fix as we stayed for two days). All in all, the hotel is good for a short stay while wandering across Venice. Within a 10 min. Walk from the hotel you can find a very good kebab place “skk kebab” highly recommended and is open till 1-2 am.

The breakfast was very good

Excellent location and generally a comfortable hotel but with some significant issues. It was quite warm when we were there and the air conditioning never worked after multiple calls to the front desk. Also the internet was the worse I have experienced in the last few years. It only worked occasionally and when it did it was painfully slow. Our room was directly above a Very loud bar that blasted incredibly bad music until almost midnight. It was so loud it vibrated glasses in our room. On a positive note the breakfast was excellent and the bed was comfortable.

We wanted a cost effective and convenient location before a morning flight from Venice. Hotel Duca d’Aosta met all our expectations and has gone beyond. The gentleman in front desk during check in and check out were friendly and helpful. The train station is only a four minutes walk and easy to get to Venice and to far away places. We didn’t take breakfast as we left before 5 am We have seen many eateries

Great experience at the hotel, friendly and helpful staff and very close to public transport

The hotel is located 2 minutes from the railway station. We had amazing time with arrival, stay and travel . The service is amazing.

First reception was not great but the lady that checked us out was more pleasant. We spent 3 nights and never had change of bedding or towels or any form of cleaning. Worst of all, the lighting was so poor one could only guess when applying makeup. The beddings were not great either. The hotel could do with upgrades. The shower drainage system was not good as well. More pillows would be nice too. I’m sorry but I couldn’t wait to leave. Not usually one to give bad reviews but can’t help this one.

Great staff. Perhaps upgrade the facilities for better service.
