Very clean and generously equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Lovely comfy beds and we loved the coffee machine (and pods) and the air fryer in the kitchen. Beautiful deck to sit and take in the ocean views. Best cafe in town and local shops just around the corner. There was so much to keep the whole family entertained in Port Macquarie - the coastal walk is a must. We will book again!

One the positive side, the house is in a great location, close to the beach and local shops. It is roomy, with 4 bedrooms. The agent was quick to answer a call to fix the smoke alarm which was faulty when we arrived. Netflix access is provided. However, amenities are the bare minimum - furniture is sparse, there is no BBQ. The outdoor deck is not under cover. The kitchen is not well equipped and there were some dishes put away dirty or left in the dishwasher. One of the toilet roll holders is falling off the wall. Most holiday rentals provide at least basics like salt, sugar, a spare toilet roll, but not this one - even the dishwashing detergent was almost empty. Overall disappointing in spite of the positives.

Also easy access to central Port Macquarie being only a short drive away. If you have time, do the coastal walk from the Lighthouse to Port Macquarie - this was spectacular.However, there are a couple of issues to note. Firstly, right next door, a new house is being built. Tradies are on-site from 7am (through to 3pm) so no chance of a "sleep in". I would have thought that this fact would have been contained in the property description as the house build has a long way to go before being completed. I am not sure I would have booked this particular home if I had been aware of the building work happening next door.Less of an issue was the fact that the air fryer hadn't been cleaned properly by the previous vacationer. And a suggestion for improvement would be for the owner to provide a vacuum cleaner.

Most rental properties have a key lock or similar to get in property and also the leave key. 2. There were no dishwasher tablets for dishwasher, there was only 1 garbage bag for inside waste. I also think there should be an all purpose spray to clean benches etc. we had to purchase all of them to keep the property clean. 3. The red bin hadn’t been emptied the previous week, therefore the bin was overflowing. 4. I received an email, re: most properties don’t have linen, we would need to bring it, I attempted to phone your office to confirm if we needed to take our linen, the office was unattended, so we took our own linen, which wasn’t required. It would be helpful if this email only went out to people who need to take Linen. 5. the reservation process was easy and the person I spoke to was helpful.

Not enough seating at table for 9 people and couldn’t eat meals together, eg Christmas lunch. No bins in toilets, No bbq for a holiday house, shade sails were missing on deck and the advertisement showed shade sails. Great location and very modern, and enjoyed the week. Thank you

House was spacious enough for the whole family, very clean and had a lovely deck where we had some meals while watching and listening to the ocean. We enjoyed cooking in the large and well equipped kitchen when we didn’t feel like dining out. Will definitely stay again soon.

Thehouse was spacious, spotlessly clean and had everything our familyneeded for our holiday. Amazing location just a few hundred metres tothe beach and 100 metres to the local shops, including the bestcafe in town. Host was very accomodating and easy to contact. Can’t wait to stay again.
