it is a old quinta with orange/lemons crops nowadays. The place is very nice, close to Tavira (about 10 min by car), easily to find. There is a swimnpool (which we did not used as it was wintertime). The breakfast is very nice, with all you can need for breakfast, including "pastel de nata". There is a large parking car and it is free. It is a good place to stay with family for a couple of days. We stayed only 1 night as we are travelling back to Lisboa. But it was a very nice (and relaxing) night. Tavira is a very small and cozy city, you can feel the portuguese coastal cities

Beautiful place, very friendly staff

Sehr nettes Personal, gutes Frühstück mit frisch gepresstem Orangensaft und schöne Lage mit Blick über den Orangenhain. Es wird täglich gefragt, ob man eine Zimmerreinigung und einen Wechsel der Handtücher möchte. Es stehen Pool-/Strandhandtücher zur Verfügung. Tavira ist mit dem Auto sehr schnell zu erreichen.

Die Zimmer sind wegen der kleinen Fenster recht dunkel. Die Matratze war uns zu hart.

Uitgebreid ontbeid met verse broodjes

Schöne Anlage, etwas außerhalb von Tavira. Auto erforderlich. Das Personal war sehr engagiert und hilfsbereit und gab viele gute Tipps für Tavira und Umgebung. Schön eingerichtete Zimmer mit großem Badezimmer. Schöner großer Pool mit Abstand zu den Zimmern, so dass es keine Störung gab.

Alles war perfekt. Das Personal super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück für uns mehr als ausreichend. Die Lage ist etwas außerhalb von Tavira aber mit einem Mietauto in weniger als 10 Minuten erreichbar, daher für uns kein Problem. Die Poolanlage ist sehr sauber und wird jeden morgen gereinigt.

This is a real gem near Tavira. We didn't expect such lovely, lush surroundings, and were delighted by how nice the staff was and how great the breakfast. Fantastic, really, if we could have we would have stayed another few days!

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, provided us with tips for restaurants in Tavira, activities, etc. The breakfast buffet was abundant and varied, perfect to fill your energy tanks for a day full of activities in Algarve. The area of the garden and pool was very pleasant and well kept, perfect to relax in the evening - although the water in the pool was rather chilly.

Our room was a bit small for the price we payed, but apart from that, nothing to complain about!

Quiet location just outside Tavira. Staff very helpful in suggesting places to go. The pool was lovely, breakfast simple but fresh ingredients. Our room had a little courtyard which we enjoyed. Lovely views from the property. Aircon worked!

Amazing panoramic views of the countryside from the pool area. The location is delightful tranquil and peaceful, but still convenient for getting into Tavira by car. The suite was quite spacious and the bed very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

The breakfasts were nice, but could have offered more variety. While it was great to have the outdoor dining option on the private terrace, the meal and serving accessories (crockery, cutlery etc.) were limited. Other than that, everything was fine.

We loved the relaxed feel of the place. All staff were super friendly , interested and helpful. Fabulous pool and breakfast. Great place to chill out. Short drive to town. So nice to be amongst the citrus groves and rural setting

The location was lovely with super views over the hills behind the Algarve. The breakfasts were tasty with an excellent choice.

Absolutely fabulous- the perfect unwind for a couple of days. Gorgeous house accommodation with everything we needed and lovely grounds to wander around. Fabulous and plentiful breakfast. And the staff- Miguel and his team couldn’t do enough.

The staff was friendly, obliging and communicated well in english. The room, including the bathroom, was modern and very clean. Also, the bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet for sleeping. Quinta da Capelinha was easy to get to by car, and the property is well secured. The grounds are garden like and well maintained. There is plenty of space for families to relax and kids to play. The large pool area is safely fenced-in. The property is situated in citrus groves, and the aroma was amazing. The breakfast room was clean, and the food was excellent. Well worth the price option. We would definitely return to Quinta da Capelinha even if it meant going a bit out of our way. Hope to return next year.

The room was rather small and there was a lingering cleanser smell in the bathroom, not too bad, but annoying.

Wonderful place to spend a couple of days relaxing. Quiet location in the countryside yet close to Tavira. The property is located in an orange orchard and there are pretty views all around. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

The rooms while nice could have been a bit bigger. Also, having a place to plug phones would be helpful.

Clean, new, spacious, and modern. The location is a few km out of Tavira so it is very quiet at night. Nice scenery. We spent 4 nights in the off-season (January) so we weren't able to enjoy the outdoor facilities. Breakfast was good and staff friendly.

The scenery is great but our room had only one small window. The mostly-Ikea furniture is OK but the day bed and cushions that double as a sofa is the main seating and is unfortunately uncomfortable. The decor is utilitarian but lacks charm (plastic plants?). My wife and I are not fans of the wall-mounted lever soap dispensers used in the bathroom - feels like you are in a public facility. .
