We had a lovely stay here and would recommend this to anyone who finds proximity to whiteface, quiet, and seclusion a priority. The accommodations were clean, upstairs bed was comfortable, shower water was hot, and the fireplace added extra warmth after returning from a long day of skiing. The host was quick to respond to questions, and check in and out were straightforward. Thank you!

Warm and cozy cabin in a convenient location to explore Lake Placid!

I booked the Black Diamond Chalet for a laid back, relaxing weekend for my husband, myself and our 2 pups. BDC did not disappoint. The space was perfect for us. With rain for a good amount of the trip, we spent a lot of time in the living area. The fold out couch and gas fireplace made for a very cozy Saturday. The chalet is very close to town yet feels secluded and is private.

Property was nice and close to everything we planned on doing.

I enjoyed another wonderful stay here. The house is clean, cozy, and comfortable, with all the amenities I need. I love the location; it feels secluded but is well situated for hiking and sight seeing in the Adirondacks. It was an incredibly hot week for September, so it got a little warm inside. That was a small price to pay and it did not dampen another great vacation stay here. I look forward to coming back again next year. Thanks.

The chalet was perfect for our family of three plus our small dog. On a very private road very close to all attractions we wanted to visit. Kitchen had everything we needed to make some meals at home. Owner was communicative and available via email if we needed anything. Would definitely stay here when we visit again!

Would have gave 5 stars but vary dirty, clead up cigarette buts and dog poo from other renters...cleaned in side of the house to. Very good location and awsome yard and fire pit..need a better house keeper...

Excellent location central to many attractions in the ADK high peaks region. Adequate space for 2 adults. Very clean and well maintained.

Loved the property, it was perfect

Such a beautiful cabin, quiet location, tucked away and private without being isolated. The beds were super comfy, and this was the best stocked kitchen I’ve ever encountered. Everything was considered. This was exactly what we had been hoping for.

Loved staying here for our Independence Day holiday week. It was in a quiet little area and close to some of the areas recommended places to see. Comfortable and just how it is described in the listing! Will recommend for friends wanting to visit or even come back again some time! Thank you!

This was our first trip with 2 huskies and it was perfect. The weather held out and we were able to take advantage of all the breweries and trails very close to the property. The cabin itself was immaculate. Would definetly stay again.

The location and property itself was very clean, ideal, and easy to get to. It's proximity to both Lake Placid and Lake Champlain was perfect as Placid is 15 minutes in one direction and Champlain was 40 in another. Whether it was rainy or sunny, there was always something to do. The one part of the property that I would change would be the small metal cords acting as support railings on the deck and stairs up to the loft. While they look great and add a touch of modern to a classic A-Frame, we had to regularly keep an eye on our 16 month old as she walks everywhere and those cords aren't exactly child friendly. Other than that, it was as advertised and a very comfortable stay. We would definitely stay again.

The host was very responsive whenever we had questions about our stay. The cabin was well equipped and in a beautiful area.

We loved the freshly updated A-frame in the woods. Super quiet location. It was stocked with great kitchen essentials and some nice extras like bug spray. It rained the whole weekend so we didn’t get to enjoy the campfire, but it was a nice setup with ADK chairs. Host was very responsive before we got there when we had a couple of questions. Oh, and fast Wi-Fi! We would stay again for sure.

We enjoyed our stay at this clean, updated property. While there are houses nearby it still feels private and quiet. The location is great for a quick trip into Lake Placid or a 45 minute drive to Lake Champlain. The deck is a little scary for very small children or half-blind dogs but everyone enjoyed their time in the spacious yard instead.

Super close to Whiteface and a great place to crash in between skiing!

My husband and I spent 4 nights at the Chalet for our anniversary. We loved every minute of the cozy cabin. It was close to all activities for us including Whiteface, Lake Placid Village, and cross country ski trails. We would have loved to stay longer!

Great place to stay, beautiful location!

My partner and I had a great time lodging in this chalet for the weekend. Surrounded by a winter wonderland, we enjoyed the cozy nature of the A-frame and it’s amenities. Being under 10 minutes from the Whiteface resort was incredibly convenient and allowed us to arrive bright and early while being well rested. Our dog Lincoln also truly enjoyed the stay. Being able to run through the snow covered landscape and quickly return to the warm inviting house was very fulfilling for him. All in all, we had a memorable trip and were very pleased with our experience. Dana did a great job of making the check in and check out process a breeze and the chalet was very clean and tidy. We would definitely return for future weekend getaways!

It was a great place to spend time together as a family. The view was breathtaking and we loved how close it was to Whiteface. It’s a place you’ll want to go back to!

I have lost count of the number of times we have stayed at the chalet! We just love it....cozy, great location, and our dog loves it! It always feels like coming home!

I recently stayed at the Juniper Chalet and thoroughly enjoyed the property. The property was clean and well maintained. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood and beautiful area with some amazing views and drives. Also, I was treated to one of the best sunsets I’ve ever seen, right on the front porch of the property. So If you stay here I’d highly recommend checking out the sunsets. The owner was very polite and helpful. I can’t wait to find another “excuse” to take a trip up to the Adirondacks and book my next stay at the Chalet!

The chalet was perfect for our little family. Had everything we needed including a grill and fire pit to enjoy the outdoors. I would bring extra blankets next time since the night temps dropped considerably.

The cabin was nice in a quiet area with lot of woods to walk around in. I was especially happy to be able to bring our dogs. We are hoping to go back next year.

We had the most amazing time experiencing whiteface mountain and lake placid. The chalet was cozy and we felt right at home! Our trip was the perfect getaway for our family of 4.
