A quiet cabin right in the middle of Mentone. Very comfortable with thoughtful touches for a lovely stay.

My wife and I stayed at the cabin for our 30th anniversary. It was super clean , extremely well stocked with necessities and overall just beautiful. We had a fox cross the yard in the mornings , a rabbit grazing on the front lawn and multiple deer wandering the yard . Great cabin , great location , great everything!! A++

I had a business meeting in Knoxville, TN. We decided to take a couple of days vacation on the way back to Foley, AL. We had a great time. Nice place to stay. We woul;d go back.

I enjoyed this cabin so much! Could not tell you which porch I loved the most! Both were fabulous! And the cabin itself was the cutest and so cozy!I will be staying at this cabin again!

We stayed here the weekend of June Jam, what an awesome place this is. It’s 20 minutes from FT Payne and in the most discreet place. The cabin was so nice and very clean. In case you forgot something, they had it there for you. We will make sure this is where we stay for June Jam from now own.

This cabin is within a few minutes of the center of Mentone, yet it is very secluded. While three could stay here as the description states, there would be little privacy for the individuals as the bedroom does not have doors. Andy and Lisa are fantastic hosts and are very thoughtful in the amenities they include. We were very happy with our stay here and would recommend this cabin to our friends.

This was a really great rental for a long weekend getaway. The cabin was super cute and perfect space for mornings/nights when we
weren’t out and about. Everything was clean and had a home away from home feel. If we are ever back in the area, we will look into booking this place again!

This is a cozy, delightful cabin very close to downtown Mentone but completely private. It has all the amenities you need whether you want to go exploring or just stay in and relax in front of the fireplace.

Hosts have a great set-up at this location. They provide simple amenities that make the stay better. Secluded, but near what you need. Very peaceful setting. Would recommend this for couples for a quiet escape from busy life.

The property was secluded but still close to all the local attractions. When you walk in it’s like being home. The owners had water and snacks a fully furnished kitchen. They had fire wood for the fireplace or outdoor fire pit. The porches were great place to sit and watch for wildlife. They were thoughtful to leave some toiletry supplies if you forgot something at home. Would definitely recommend if you are traveling near the area.

I needed a place to relax and enjoy some silence. This was the perfect place. Although it rained and I couldn't enjoy the porches, the inside was very comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable. The host provide a lot of little extras to make the stay more enjoyable.

Everything was great! The only thing I would say that could use a little improvement would be the shower. The shower itself was nice enough but the water didn’t get very hot. Other than that, everything was excellent!

We really enjoyed a weekend getaway to just getaway and enjoy the outdoors. The weather didn’t cooperate to well but we went to Alabama Museum (excellent) drove around enjoying all the colors and beautiful scenery. Went to Desoto Park.

My husband and i searched for the perfect cabin for a weekend away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and certainly found it at the Woodlands. The owners were easy to communicate with and quickly messaged back. In the mornings we were able to sit on the porch while drinking coffee and watch the birds. At night, we sat on the porch swing watching the fireflies. We will definitely be going back soon.

We arrived very late after driving from Atlanta, but Lisa had given us excellent directions. We were very impressed with the cabin - it had everything. Great wi-fi, full kitchen, very comfortable bed, plenty of space, porches & fire pit & other extras that we didn't really get a chance to use. I would highly recommend this wonderful getaway in the most beautiful area of Alabama.

Love this cabin! Short drive or walk to town but surrounded by trees so you feel like you're away from the world! Very comfy bed and everything you need to cook at home if you choose. We loved the big covered porches!

DeSoto Falls and Little River Falls was close by. Also an easy drive to Fort Payne.

The cabin was in a nice and quiet location. I felt like we were home. It was so comfy and relaxing. We were close to Brow Park for the sunset, Desoto State Park for the hiking and Little River Falls in Fort Payne, AL. Thank you Lisa for everything!
