We were very pleased with lively accommodations and enjoyed a relaxing stay surrounded by the beauty of God's creation. We had a Red Headed woodpecker as neighbor feeding her babies nested in the knot hole of tree. We plan to reserve this cabin everytime we visit Lookout Mountain, AL and Desoto State Park.

Wow - lovely, warm, and inviting - the host has thought of everything for the decor and modern furnishings. We loved hanging out on the large screened porch with twinkle lights. It was fun to go to Brow Park and to Wildflower Cafe. Roadside Que in Fort Payne has delicious BBQ as well.

Property was outstanding. Clean and well stocked. Very nice little trail along the creek. Most of all Amy was accessible, helpful and so pleasant. Loved our stay.

The house was immaculately clean and so cozy. The personal touches around the house and how well stocked with essentials it was made it feel very welcoming. We had everything we needed to cook our meals. The porch was the best part and we spent most of our time relaxing out there. It was perfect for a friends getaway. I would love to stay here again.

The cabin was very clean and beautiful. It was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. It was peaceful and very relaxing to be there. I will definitely stay there again and will recommend it too. My husband and I had a wonderful time.

Very quiet. Beautifully situated on a creek in the woods, but near town. The owner is very gracious— we inadvertently left some workout equipment on the screen porch, and she was happy to UPS it to us at our home.

This is now my favorite place to stay in Mentone!!! Clean, fully furnished with everything we would ever need! Loved the screened porch...maybe it will be warm enough next time to enjoy it. The fireplace was awesome!! A+ in my book!

Enjoyed the stay over the weekend! My wife and I also enjoyed the creek area to sit, pray, and have a time of solitude with God. Perfect place to make that personal connection.

This house in the woods is perfect. It is a very nice new modern house with all amenities you need. Although there are other houses near by the wooded area makes it private. I can't think of anything else to say except, I want to go back. Be sure to go to the park overlooking the valley and watch the sunset and go to the market for the best pizza you every put in your mouth.

My husband and I had a wonderful time! The cottage was so cute and cozy, and really close to downtown Mentone. Our host, Amy, responded right away with any questions we had. We loved hiking, sightseeing and dining out, and this cottage was the perfect place to come back to and relax!

We really enjoyed our cozy little cottage. Our 13 year old girls loved playing back down by the creek. They even built a little fort. The sweet, hostess had ballons for them for their birthday.

This cottage is PERFECT for a few days of R&R! It was fabulously decorated, very clean, and extremely welcoming. Although the entire cottage was nice and homey, the covered patio was the best 'room' in the house. If there would have been a hammock out there, I probably would have slept there!
The host, Amy, was very kind and I can't wait to visit again. Thanks for a great getaway!

Awesome. Owner answered phone promptly. Provided a basket of goodies and fresh vegetables for grilling. Woke up to a deer outside bedroom window. The stream was lovely to walk to and explore. Screened in porch was a great place to read my Bible and pray. Quiet place to enjoy nature and time with friends.

This is an awesome property! It's brand new, and is decorated beautifully. We stayed for the weekend and everything was just perfect. We are planning on making this a annual trip. Look no further for the perfect Mentone stay!

I was looking for a peaceful and relaxing weekend. I got that and so much more. From the sample of fresh veggies grown in the host’s garden to the deer grazing in the backyard, it was wonderful. I can’t wait to return and enjoy the screened in porch when the weather is cooler.
