Die Lage innerhalb der Stadtmauer ist perfekt, man kann alles zu Fuß erreichen. Die Gasse ist nachts sehr schön ruhig.

Die Unterkunft hat keinen Parkplatz, man parkt in der Straße. Die Gastgeber sind nicht vor Ort, man muss Ankunftszeit und Zeit fürs Frühstück vorab genau angeben. Das Frühstück war das mickrigste unserer Reise, es gab ein kaltes, hartgekochtes Ei, 4 Scheibchen Haloumi und Wurst, Tomaten, Gurken, Oliven, für jeden etwas Marmelade und ein paar Scheiben trockenes Brot. Nach den Bewertungen hier hatten wir mehr erwartet. Die Zimmer sind sehr minimalistisch ausgestattet. Wir haben folgendes vermisst: Nachttisch, Stuhl, Handtuchhalter. Achtung: Der Durchlauferhitzer in der Dusche war nicht korrekt installiert, sodass die Dusche nur entweder kochend-heißes oder kaltes Wasser lieferte, das Mischen einer angenehmen Temperatur war nicht möglich. Nachdem wir uns fast verbrüht haben, haben wir schlussendlich nur noch kalt geduscht. Wir haben versucht, den Gastgebern das Problem zu erklären, aber sie haben es nicht verstanden. Ich bezweifle daher, dass das in naher Zukunft geändert wird. Ich rate deshalb davon ab, diese Unterkunft zu buchen.

Extremely old bed not comfortable bed. Room paints are shattered and old. The bathroom water heater was dangerous to use. The showers water drainage didn't worked properly. Owner asked us for money because her bedding was stained and they couldn't wash the dirty bedding properly.

We were/are so appreciative to share our important journey to Famagusta with our superb hosts at Magic Moon Guest House. On the day of travel i informed MMGH our flight into Paphos had been delayed by 2 hours making our expected time at the guest house around 01.00am. Throughout our taxi ride to Famagusta our hosts were concerned with the lateness in time for the border crossing. When we arrived we were welcomed with friendly smiling faces. Breakfast was outstanding and the highlight of the day. Room was clean and tidy including a simple uncompicated shower that worked! Magic Moon Guest House is the perfect location to explore Famagusta and Northern Cyprus.

Top location inside the old city. Quiet neighbourhood. The host gave us a warm welcome, and were so helpful. We had a nice breakfast in the courtyard. Parking is possible on the street just outside the guest house. We highly recommend a stop here.

Arisione Guest House is located central, once you step out the door you are surrounded by churches and other ancient buildings. The hosts are super nice people helping with every question you have. Decent breakfast and a nice backyard to chill!
