House was great - lots of room - pool and game room favorite for kids

Beautiful property. Exactly as described. Comfortable beds and lounging. Plenty of games. We did not use the jacuzzi, only pool and kayaks. Plenty of supplies and towels. Everything in the house was clean. However, the outside area was not clean.

The property was perfect for our family get together. Great location and plenty of things to do. Or you can just sit on the porch and relax. Highly recommend. Great owners and property manager. Answered any question we had very promptly.

This property and location for the price was outstanding. Everyone’s rooms were very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to make meals. The living room couch easily accommodated all of us. It is only a short walk to the Creekside gondola. The highlight of our days included relaxing in the hot tub after skiing all day. Communication with Outpost was phenomenal. The snow plower even found a friends passport that got lost on the ground. Outpost promptly reached out and returned it to us. Our friend did not even realize she lost it. We think of how terrible it could’ve been trying to get home without the detail and attention from Outpost to make sure it was returned safely. Thank you so much! We can’t recommend the house and Outpost enough!

Our multigenerational group of 14 people overall enjoyed our stay here. We did have some issues, which the property manager was not very helpful with during our stay. I emailed the owner after, and they responded quickly that they would address our concerns.

Very peaceful and tranquil. Very quiet. Well-appointed and comfortable. Ground floor access to main common area and 3 of the bedrooms was a plus for this older group. Loved the view of the river. Outdoor spaces were great.

They wouldn't work with us, something came up that we couldn't go and they would compremise with us so when we come out in Feb. we are not going to stay there.

Family of 23 had an amazing time at this property. The pool was just perfect along with the outdoor covered area with grill/kitchen. Th house had an amazing gameroom with shuffleboard, ping pong, foosball, and air hockey. Amazing house. We have this family trip annually and this is by far the best house. The communication with the property owner was poor. It was basically one way communication, but nevertheless, everything worked out.

The property was just what it advertised. We had teens and adults and there was plenty to do. The game room is awesome as was the pool, view, fishing, and hot tub. The house is fabulous with plenty of areas for all to gather, great set up with rooms and bathrooms, and kitchen is well supplied. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

We loved this place! We had 22 of us (three families), with all ages included. The house is basically brand new, and is extremely well set up for large groups. We had no issues whatsoever, and would love to stay again. We had access to area activities, but also loved just hanging around the house, with the pool, game room, etc. Lots of large spaces for groups.

House was beautiful, scenery was beautiful. Upkeep could use improvement!!! They have my money & can not get ahold of a real person. Property was left behind & they charged a $25 fee wether they found it or not & have not got back to me

House was AMAZING, everything we needed was available for us. We spent our time in the outside patio and pool area, even took the kayaks out on the lake. We definitely be planning another summer trip here.

We had a wonderful time in this house. One snag, not their fault, the house wasn’t ready at check in . Once we got in the place was amazing!! We enjoyed the pool and game room. The view was so peaceful and beautiful, we just watched the activity of the river as we floated in the pool. At night we hung out on the patio and played games in the game room. Plenty of space for everyone. Would definitely book again

This was the best extended family getaway ever!! The house and accommodations were absolutely amazing!! Loved the layout and all the attention to detail with the deco. The owners thought of everything to make this stay absolutely stress free and top notch! The outdoor space was awesome. The giant covered patio, outdoor kitchen, pool, and hot tub were loved by all during our entire stay!! We will definitely be back. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Every possible thing you need for a vacation for a large group is available here, look no further! It exceeds your imagination. Beautifully decorated, spotless and games galore. For dining, make sure you have essentials. Ie Salt and Pepper, vegetable oil etc. Everything else is covered! Would recommend this property to anyone a million times over. Book now and walk into dreamland!!!

This new home was the perfect place for a large family to relax and enjoy Lake Placid, and the Sequin and New Braunfels areas. Very well appointed, great layout, with a modern feel, this home has it all. Large enough to accommodate several families, with a fantastic game room, small swimming pool and separate Spa. You can even fly fish from the shore of the property. Large kitchen for all your cooking needs, and open concept dining & living rooms, with a very large backyard patio, with outdoor kitchen and dining table. You won't be disappointed spending time at Lake Placid Retreat!

I have not seen another property as well-stocked as this one. Anything you might need, it's just there.... like magic! The property is absolutely gorgeous in its architecture, location, and view. The interiors are thoughtfully done and the quality of construction is high. The game room is epic. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We'll continue to return if we can afford it.

Well appointed very large house right on the river with nice game room and two kayaks!

This is brand new, spectacular house! We came here for a weekend reunion with family and friends; every detail was thought of with a big group in mind. We had a group of six kids and 10 adults and we fit comfortably with plenty of room to spare. Each family had their own bedroom/bathroom and the kids loved the bunk bed rooms. We all had a blast in the huge game room playing with the variety of bar style games and board games. The spacious kitchen was perfect for cooking and catching up. The outdoor space is amazing and we enjoyed watching the water and birds while we drank coffee on the patio. We even soaked in the hot tub after dinner which was very clean and had a great view of the water. We can’t wait to come back someday when the weather is warm enough for swimming in the beautiful infinity pool and take some kayaks out to explore!

This house was amazing. The whole place is brand new, so everything is in pristine condition, from the beds to the walls to the appliances to the other amenities like hot tub, pool, kayaks, etc. We have younger kids (3-6 yr olds). They loved the game room with air hockey, board games, playing in the hot tub and the pool, kayaking with the parents, and exploring all the different rooms in the house. The adults also had fun with ping-pong, shuffleboard, and foosball tournaments in the game room, which also has it's own bar! For the grown-ups, the great room is pretty grand. Kitchen outfitted with chef-level appliances with a huge island that incorporates the living and dining area with tons of space for open seating. It all looks out over the lake. There is a massive patio with a grill and TV, pool, and hot tub, which makes for some amazing sunsets. Only wish that the pool was heated because it was pretty chilly! After the kids were in bed it was so peaceful sitting on the back patio. The layout of the house would make it great for both single families or large groups of several families. We had tons of room to spare. The noise from the adults hanging out in the great room and game room didn’t bother the kids asleep in other rooms. We had groups hanging out in different areas like the back patio/pool area, the game room, and the great room and noise was never a problem. The main bedroom and bathroom felt like a swanky resort and it also looks out onto the lake. Super comfy beds throughout the house. There was so much to do at this house, and it's a truly fun and relaxing place to stay. I've been recommending it to all of our friends and can't wait to come back.
