I loved this quirky hotel, the decor was great, the owner and staff very friendly.

The rooms are excatly what you expect from a boutique hotel! Stylish and cozy (mine was also very big). Hotel staff was super helpful and they also provide free bycicles. The position is 10 minutes by walk from Hoi An center and I think that is better cause you have no noice but you’re still in a good position! Super Nice stay!

Een fijn verblijf centraal in de stad. Met 10 minuten lopen sta je in het centrum en met de (gratis) fietsen van het hotek is alles binnen handbereik. Een uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet.

Het zwembad ligt voor een overgrote deel van de dag in de schaduw van het pand, dus daar hebben we nauwelijks gebruik van gemaakt. De kamer was netjes, alleen hadden we steeds problemen met het slot van de deur. Het was zeer gevoelig bij het sluiten. Het verbeteren van de sloten zou zeer wenselijk zijn.

The staff at Son Hoi A were exceptional every time with check in, helping with tours and information around the area as well as any orders that we had. It was located quite close to town but one of the best things about the place was the interior decoration and complementary breakfast in their dining area. The place felt very welcoming.

The staff was exceptionally polite and friendly. The pool area was just breathtakingly beautiful. The room was big and comfortable.

The ongoing repetitive elevator/spa music the hotel played. After a couple of days it was a little bit too much for my taste.

The location of this hotel is fantastic. It is in a quieter part of Hoi An, but it is only a short walk or bicycle ride to the busier part of town, or the Old Town. There are lots of great massage parlours nearby, as well as great coffee and food. The staff at this hotel were so lovely and welcoming. Upon arrival, they sat with us to chat about our trip and ask what we planned to do in Hoi An, as well as recommended places to visit, eat, and tours to join. We received a discount card for a local restaurant (which I think may be owned by the hotel) and the food here was amazing. The room is comfortable and spacious. I would recommend this hotel for anybody travelling to Hoi An.

Loved everything about the hotel. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the location is a short 5-10 min walk to the old town, the rooms are super comfortable and the breakfast buffet is great!

AMAZING stay! We stayed 3 night in this beautiful hotel and had the most wonderful experience. The rooms are beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Shower and bath was amazing. The pool was lovely to relax after a hot day exploring. Breakfast was amazing in the morning. Was a short 10 minute walk to the main streets.

Fantastic hotel, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. The rooms are nicely decorated making them feel fresh and modern Close to Hoi An with all amenities within walking distance.

No gym for those wanting to stick to an exercise regime

Friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, clean and beautiful pool, free bikes, lovely room decor, nice massages and quiet location a short walk from the old town. Smaller hotel with a nice atmosphere out of the hustle and bustle. No large tour groups.

Room had a slightly musty smell when we first checked in.

- Good location only 15 minutes walk to the old town. - Staff friendly - Free bike hire was very useful

Although new the hotel was missing very basic features that you don’t normally consider are needed as they are guaranteed. It is as if it has been designed for the aesthetics with no consideration of practicality which quickly became annoying. Bedroom - no bedside tables to put belongings on - power points and light switches only on one side of the bed at an awkward angle - there was a serious lack of privacy in the bedroom. The balcony was separated with the walkway to other rooms on that floor so people looked into your room when walking past. There is a sheer curtain but it didn’t do much so the only option is to close the full curtains if you don’t want to be overlooked. - the tv is on a wall parallel at the end of the bed and doesn’t pull out so not sure how you are meant to see it. - the room door locks with a real key which is also needed to turn the electrics on. It means all lights and AC turn off every time you want to lock/ unlock the door. The AC then takes 5 minutes to reset each time and this also feels like a safety issue as you would struggle to unlock the door quickly in an emergency. Breakfast - the lobby/ restaurant is boiling. There appears to be AC but it isn’t working or not on strong enough. All the butter for example is completely melted. - breakfast choices are poor and the hot food is lukewarm at best. After staying in 5 hotels in Vietnam this was the worst we had by a long way and we skipped it after day 1. All in all, rather mediocre which is a shame as we had very high hopes. We felt that it was not worth the cost as this was one of the more expensive options available in Hoi An.
