Mighty Chickadee was the best! I had the most enjoyable week with family and my 3 month old granddaughter absolutely loved the pool. The cabin was beautiful and just like the pictures showed. Would love to come back sometime in the future and stay again!!

This cabin was PERFECT for our crew of 7. I read through the reviews and one that stuck out was, “it looked just like the pictures”…I originally thought “that’s not possible because pictures always look better”. Let’s just say, the house really does look just like the pictures. It was clean, spacious and the host were only a call/email away. The kitchen was well equipped with necessities including a blender and s’more kits that my children enjoyed. This Spring Break trip will never be forgotten and it’s a huge thanks to our first mountain/cabin getaway being a small success.

The cabin was nice and clean. The only suggestion we would have is it would have been nice if we could have utilized the pool table but all the tips were broken on the sticks.

Everything was really nice. Didn’t really like that if we wash our makeup off with the wash clothes we would be charged for linens. Most people use make up remover. But definitely get darker linens because this is a petty thing when paying what you do for the property. Other than that things were great.

My husband and our four children stayed at the Mighty Chickadee for an extended weekend. We had a relaxing and enjoyable time at the cabin. It was beautifully decorated & clean! We had plenty of space and room. The drive to the cabin is an easy drive on paved road but I would recommend AWD, especially if rain is in the forecast. We drove our van up, but next time we will bring the truck. The room temperature is controlled by the owner, but she was always super quick to respond and bump the temp where we needed. Highly recommend this property & owner! Very thankful for an excellent experience!

Last minute trip to spend time with grand babies and sisters plus go to Dollywood. It was amazing. We will be back. Loved the privacy of the pool with little ones. Who would swim all night.

Very nice place lots of steps to other parts of house like to enter we had to go up steps to get into the house definitely not handicap accessible.

The cabin is lovely. The hubby and I being the only guests maybe didn't use it to its fullest potential but we enjoyed our time there so much that we are ready to plan another trip. It was clean and nicely furnished with so many things. I don't think there were any items I could have needed that weren't there. From the normal shampoo, soaps, towels and hair dryer that you get in a hotel to a fully equipped kitchen, a laundry arear which had detergent if you needed to do a load of laundry and a smores kit to use at the fire pit if you buy some wood locally. There was even some microwave popcorn in case you wanted to watch a movie from your netflix account.

This property is laid out very nice. With it being 3 stories, it is nice there is a restroom on every floor. We have all women staying 6 total and it was never a problem with shower or getting in to use a restroom. The Hot tub and pool are where clean. The cabin itself was very clean. The had everything there we need to cook a meal or snack. A quick 15 min drive to the store or dinner if you want to avoid the bigger city. Down town Gaitinburg was about 45 mins drive. The staff was very easy to work with. The only things i would change would be softer beds, I like a soft bed. Step for the hot tub. The Other homes are closer so dont expect no to see your neighbors, but this did not hurt our out door time. A great place and stay. I think we all would 100% stay here again.

We very much enjoyed our vacation. House had everything we needed for our stay. We are big cooks and we did not find anything missing in the kitchen. Super handy being close to Publix for groceries. Loved the view of the far off mountains! Hot tub and pool were a huge hit! Would absolutely stay again if we make it that way again.

Our group had an excellent time. The cabin was clean and the property manager was quick to respond to my questions. No need to ever leave, but the drive to all the fun isn’t far. We will definitely go back!

We wanted a quiet place to celebrate a medical success with family. Mighty Chickadee fit the bill perfectly. Plenty to keep kids busy. Close to tourist area but not in a traffic nightmare. Just perfect!

We came to town for a UT game and it was not a bad drive from the stadium (about 35 minutes) because everything downtown was booked, but I’m so glad we stayed here! The views were beautiful and the cabin was soooo homey and clean! Would definitely stay here again!
