Lovely clean, comfortable room. Excellent location. The coffee shop downstairs is now an art cafe. Great food, great philosophy. Will stay again!

Location was absolutely amazing. Smack dab in the middle of town so perfect for everything in town. Room was immaculate and very well stocked, Nice and cozy too after a cold trip out in the town. Check in was very smooth and easy to do too! The cafe below the hotel is owned by different people now but they were still very welcoming and I visited quite a few times!

I don't have much at all that I could really complain about. The only thing if i was to nitpick was that there was only firm pillows available. I'm more of a soft pillow person, so it would be nice to have a soft pillow set just in the wardrobe or something? It wasn't a dealbreaker though!

Very nicely furnished, modern bathroom. It is a historic building which the owner has upgraded nicely to keep with its character . Having the coffee shop below is a bonus.

Very central location A nice size room

I wish I had known about all the stairs I had to climb up with my suitcase, as I would not have booked this accommodation. I have paid for three nights instead of two, Michael said he would sort it out but it has not been done. It’s a very noisy street, workmen outside, beer delivery on a Wednesday, over flowing bins outside. I was suppose to be sent the information so I could get in to the property but I was stuck outside and had to phone Michael.

Vi snudde i døren. Dette hotellet lignet over hodet ikke på bildene fra siden deres. Det så gammelt og nedslitt ut. Kafeen på bakkeplan var stengt. Det så skittent og nedslitt ut.

friendly staff, great location, and a comfortable, clean unit. the refreshment amenities were well stocked, and the shower was utterly satisfying

the exhaust fan in the bathroom was rather ineffective (or not working) which was an issue given the advice that the smoke alarm was sensitive to the steam of the shower. there was nowhere to hang the 'do not disturb' sign so cleaning staff came in while I was out (they did a good job; I'd have rathered they hadn't come in, however, as it was unnecessary). these were minor things, however, really just opportunities for refinement

This hotel is in a great location just off Union Street, rooms were very roomy and clean. Would definitely stay again. We met Michael who was very nice

Leider sehr hellhörig. Zimmer sehr klein. Fugen in der Dusche etwas schwarz. Personal war nicht vorhanden.

Ein schönes Zimmer in wirklich guter Lage. Es war sehr sauber, auch das Badezimmer.

Das Bett war etwas zu hart. Die Zimmer sind leider sehr hellhörig. Das Treppenhaus sah etwas in die Jahre gekommen aus und es hat manchmal unangenehm gerochen.

The location is perfect literally city center tons to do just steps away.

We could hear every word and sound from the room next door. Literally every word we could clearly hear. So dont expect privacy or quiet our neighbors weren't boisterous or loud just talking normally and we could still hear their entire conversation. We didnt realize the actual coffee house downstairs appears to be shut permanently so we had to go elsewhere for breakfast and coffee. Maybe this is temporary but it was just the few days we were there.

One night stay in Aberdeen. Really nice accommodation. Great sized room with large bed super comfortable. Tv, coffee, tea,kettle and the shower was best. Like standing under a waterfall. Position of room just 40 steps off Union Street. Constant contact with proprietors from beginning to end making it so easy to navigate everything. Great set up. Highly recommended

it was a wonderful property - clean, large king bed and a wonderful shower/bath. Easy self serve check in.

It was about a kilometre walk from parking. But the walk is nice and gives you a chance to look at a few sites around town

As it was Friday night and the room was facing the pub just a few meters away across the street it was very noisy. Beware business travellers you might not have a good sleep. The shower room was good but a bit smelly due to the lack of ventilation. There is ventilation installed though but it looks like it is not sufficient.
