This was my family’s second year booking this property. The home is walking distance to: the beach, coffee shops, bars and the Cardiff market. There is plenty of room on the property, for our family to congregate and spend time together in common areas. The home was thoughtfully stocked with cooking supplies, bedding and gear to take down to the beach. The property manager is extremely accommodating and made check in a breeze. Everyone had a great time staying and we are glad to have booked at this Cardiff beach home.

We went to the San Diego area to watch golf at Torrey Pines and really just to be outside in the sunshine! This property in this location was 100% ideal. The house is spotless, recently renovated, and just wonderful. The pictures don't even do it justice. We stayed with another couple so the bedroom split-up was great - there's an upstairs master suite and the lower level has two more bedrooms/bathroom. It's a quick walk down to see the sunset or enjoy the beach. We enjoyed sitting on the front patio with the firepit a couple of nights. We didn't get a chance to use them but there are 3 bikes in the garage plus beach gear. Trevor was a fantastic host, clear with instructions, and very quick with communications. I can't say enough good things about this property and I would book again tomorrow if I could. One of my absolute favorite stays!! Looking forward to when we can return!

Nice place to stay just a few blocks from San Elijah state beach and very close to Seaside Market and good restaurants.

Great place to stay! Check in was so easy, great communication, very nice and clean, and lots of amenities. The walk to the beach was a bit longer than the advertised 7 minutes, but we had 3 kids and pulled a the wagon the whole way, which I’m sure slowed us significantly. (Probably took us more like 15 minutes.) enjoyed the fire pit and porch lights in the evening, too. Would definitely stay here again, it was wonderful!

This was an ideal place for my family. The master suite loft was very comfortable with a partial ocean view through the large windows in the living room below. The other two bedrooms, full bathroom, and washer/dryer are at the basement level. It was great to have some beach chairs, toys, etc. in the garage for guest use. The best part, though, is the location! Walkable to the beach and cute beach town of Cardiff - markets, restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay here. It’s an amazing location, wonderful house with so many awesome amenities included. So close to the beach and the house layout is perfect for groups. We had two 18 month olds and it went great. The house includes a pack and play and high chair which we were surprised by when we got here. We will definitely be coming to stay again!

Family enjoyed the stay at the house! About a 10min walk to the beach to watch numerous surfers all day. Cute collection of restaurants in the area. Easy access to a long walking path just above 101 with views of the ocean that is frequented by people all day! The main strip of Encinitas is about 2miles away. Communication was great, and all involved were very helpful!

We enjoyed our month long stay at this property. The location is great, as it is close and convenient to the ocean, stores and restaurants.

Great place! The check-in process was super smooth (and the hosts had no problem with us coming a bit early), the house was super clean when we arrived, and had everything we needed! We loved our stay here, highly recommend!

Very nice place, couple blocks from the beach. Good size kitchen and front room under a loft bedroom with extra deep soaking tub. Two more bedrooms on bottom floor. Lots of light amd convenient location.

This was the perfect place to be with our adult children. We said goodbye to their Grampa (and one last time to their Grammi) releasing ashes into the ocean one day and celebrating in a nearby restaurant. The next day we enjoyed the zoo as a family- also close. It was quiet, comfortable, and fit or needs.

We stayed here for spring break. House is in a great location, a lot of great parks around for our little guy. Had a blast.

A great place to stay. There were a few communication issues as I did not always check my email and the owners were getting ready to put the property on the market but they gave us three extra days which more than made up for the inconvenience of having inspectors look at the house.

Our stay at this house was fantastic. The property has lots of amenities and is equipped with everything you need for a trip to the beach. The property owners communicated lots of details about the stay.

This property was very beautiful and clean. The living areas were open, light and airy. The floor to ceiling windows allowed us to see beautiful palm trees and glimpses of the ocean. Walkable to the beach, restaurants, city markets and coffee. Clean, comfortable, convenient, fresh and light. These are the qualities of a great rental home!

Great place. Walking distance to beach, groceries and restaurant nearby. We were in Del Ray for a lacrosse tournament. Easy 10-15 minute drive. Would stay here again.

We had a wonderful experience here. We had a multigenerational stay with parents, grandparents, and young children and there was plenty of space and amenities to meet everyone's needs and comfort. The neighborhood is great and with beaches, parks, and the lagoon preserve nearby and a reasonable drive to other San Diego attractions. Everything about our experience was easy and enjoyable and the owners were extremely responsive and helpful!

This vacation property lived up to the reviews and photos. All of our favorite places in Cardiff and Encinitas were within walking or a short bike ride. The rental was clean, the beds incredibly comfortable and the master has a peek-a-boo ocean view. The owners were responsibe and helpful - we'll be back.

Wonderful stay in a very comfortable 3 story duplex located in a the terrific beach town of Cardiff by the Sea. The hosts were super responsive. The property was clean and had all the needed amenities including all the things you need for a great day at the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

The location of this property is perfect! It’s 5 minutes from the beach/restaurants/shops, about 15 minutes from Legoland and less the 30 minutes from Seaworld. So it was perfect for all the things we wanted to do while in town. We were super impressed and appreciated how CLEAN the house was and how easy the check in process was. Dave responded to any message immediately. The layout is you enter on the main level (2nd floor) with the living room/kitchen/bathroom. The only tv in the home is on the main level. Downstairs (1st floor) there are 2 bedrooms, bathroom, washer and dryer. On the 3rd floor is the open area master bed and bath and outside balcony. If you’re considering this property, book it now!!! Also, if you like Italian food, Cicciotti’s is about 5 minutes away and is DELICIOUS!!

This was probably one of our best if not the best VRBO experience for us. The home was spacious, clean, pretty and so comfortable for our family of 5 (3 boys 12-17) and the location was perfect. We can not wait to come back! Thank you so much for a great trip!

Location was wonderful and we walked the beach daily. Encinitas is a great town and there are plenty of places to dine. The house was very nice, beds comfortable and stocked with quality bedding, towels, dishes - everything we needed. The fireplaces were great to have and there was also a firepit (although we ended up not using it). It was well equipped for warmer weather (bikes and beach items; sun deck) but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
