This cozy, comfortable lakefront gem was just perfect! You can see the lake from every room in the house. We loved it!

Nice cottage, very comfortable and kitchen was very well equipped. Also a great location and very quiet.

The property was comfortable yet rustic. Lake view and sunrise from the sunroom/eating area was a highlight.

We had a wonderful stay here this summer. It's just the right size for our family of 4 (kids are 8 and 11). We enjoyed many campfires on the beach, swimming, kayaking, and cooking. The house was clean and neat as a pin. Jan left us a bottle of wine from the local winery up the road, which was a nice surprise! The only issue we had was the upper floor could get quite warm on the hottest days. But we were there during a particularly hot streak. We can't wait for our next stay!

My family really enjoyed our stay. House has plenty of room. Loved the outdoor space. Great location- close to Watkins Glen & Geneva. Spent a lot of time sitting outside and enjoying the view.

Our group was 5 older high school friends. Two of us picked this place and it was exactly as we thought. It was clean, a little quirky (which to us so much nicer than cookier cutter) and comfortable. Views were great and area was peaceful. I would definitely stay here again. It is close to all the parks and wineries that we wanted to see. A nice central location for all the places the Finger Lakes region has to offer.

Our stay was perfect! The house was exceptionally clean and as described in the listing. Jan was extremely helpful and left an informative packet about the house. We had a small snafu and Jan ran right over to fix it for us- her helpfulness was above and beyond! The house is a perfect cottage with an amazing view of the lake. We took our two children (3 & 6) and a set of grandparents (65+) and found the house to be comfortable and accommodating. Don't look any further- you won't regret staying!

The house is nicely decorated and in a great location. We enjoyed watching the stars on the shoreline, going to Watkins Glen, and local wineries. The host was very responsive and I would rent from them again!

First time in the Finger Lakes for our group. Came to celebrate a birthday and taste some wine. We had an excellent time! Very relaxing property and location. The complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch. Would definitely rent again.

This was the cutest cottage on the lake! My mother-in-law and baby traveled with me for a work trip and we found the entire stay to be so relaxing. The location is perfect, being only 20 min from Geneva and Penn Yan. We are already planning another trip for next summer!

Wonderful layout - fantastic porch views over the lake! Unique touches through the house. Worth every penny! And the owner was incredibly helpful when we found ourselves in a bit of a jam for a wedding weekend! Incredibly accommodating. Unexpected bonus - very accessible for those with physical limitations.

Mary's Lakehouse is a lovely spot right on Seneca Lake. My husband is temporarily wheelchair-bound and we needed an accessible rental. Jan took the time to measure the doorways and answer all of our questions before we booked. The balcony off the bedroom and the sun porch were our favorite spots!

On somewhat short notice we had the opportunity to take some time away this past week. Seneca Lake has become a favorite vacation spot for us and we were ecstatic to find Mary's Lake House available at this late point in the summer. We came to realize that we would be it's very first guests. The manager, Janet, was friendly and accessible, and she made our check-in easy and quick. The house itself is fantastic. It's an older house, and the two bedrooms and bathroom upstairs have a old-school "lake cottage" feel. The first floor, including the master bedroom and two bathrooms, has been updated over time to be a year-round primary residence. It's got a terrific open floor plan that includes a spacious living room, a year-round sunroom facing the lake with a dining table and entire wall of windows, and an extremely well-equipped kitchen. There is a very large flat screen, smart TV with an open HDMI port, as well as solid wifi, that allowed us to use our own streaming device for watching movies in the evenings. The small porch off the master bedroom, and the patio on the other side of the house through the kitchen, were great outdoor spaces. Had we been there for a full week, we would have taken advantage of the dock for swimming and using the kayaks that belong to the house. While we didn't need it on this trip, we were happy to see that the house would also be usable for someone with mobility impairment. The walk to the front door from the driveway is fairly level and ramped where necessary. The open floor plan of the first floor makes navigating with a walker or a transfer chair very possible, and the two first floor bathrooms have useful grab bars in them. All in all we loved this house and hope to stay here again!
