My family had the opportunity to stay at Dogwood Creek and they had such a wonderful time!! The gardens are so beautiful, the location is perfect and lucky for them was a short 3 minute drive from my wedding venue! This was their first time in Saugatuck and now definitely won’t be the last. Thank you Dan and Elissa!!

Beautiful property, plenty of room and great care given to the details. There's literally something for everyone in this home! Extremely clean inside and out. Owners are great and property is well maintained. Highly recommend!

My family and I have stayed at many VRBO’s. More expensive and less expensive. This was by far our favorite! The house layout is perfect. With lots of areas to spread out! The beds were super comfortable. The amenities top notch! I would love to know where you bought your towels. Huge and extremely comfortable screened in porch over looking a meticulous yard. The property is in an outstanding location. Very homey feel but classy, decor. Not a negative thing to say! Thank you for a most enjoyable is it!

Would have loved to have the porch enclosed or heated.
Glass tables were beautiful but not good with a 2 year old.
Kitchen was great but missing commonly used utilities such as spatula and big spoons for
sauces and stirring.
Rooms looked larger on the website but worked.
Don’t recall seeing on the web that the temp was preset

We have always loved the Saugatuck area, and have rented many homes over the years! We all agreed that Dogwood Creek Cottage was perfect in every way! There were so many special touches that exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be visiting this sophisticated yet truly charming cottage again!! Thank you Dan and Elissa!!

Saugatuck is always a first choice for our Michigan summer vacations, but this cottage made our stay even better! It was absolutely beautiful, clean, warm and inviting. I am a nature lover and gardener. The grounds were amazing, and sitting on the screened-in back porch listening to the birds was my favorite. My husband and I and adult children enjoyed listening to records on the record player. The hosts were also so accommodating. Even though there were many outdoor recreational items provided, we inquired about corn hole. The hosts purchased and had two corn hole games there before we even arrived! The cottage is close enough to walk to town, but far enough to have peace and quiet. Dogwood Creek will be at the top of our list to rent again! Deserves 5++ stars!

Dogwood Cottage was everything it listed and so much more. We loved the home so much we were hesitant to leave and explore the town of Saugatuck, although we did enjoy an amazing dinner in town!
This home checks off all the boxes; cozy, charming, clean, comfortable, roomy enough for multiple families, great outdoor space, walking distance to town and a bike ride to the beach, and did I mention cozy! We will be back.

We had a wonderful time at Elissa's vacation home. The home was an oasis -- close to downtown, but far enough away to feel like you're not in a touristy area. There are so many places to relax and enjoy the spaces. The yard is huge and the kids had tons of fun playing yard games. It felt both nostalgic and modern luxe! We loved coming home from a day on the lake to the bright, immaculately furnished home -- super clean and great attention to detail on everything from the art on the walls to the bedding to the chef's kitchen. We loved our stay and will definitely be back again for a longer one.

Our hosts were excellent from start to finish. The location of the property was very close to town and we had a wonderful time exploring the area. The house is great for families and full of fun amenities for a night in as well. Would stay again.
