This place was excellent, close to the train station, which was convenient for day trips etc. Super great staff, so accommodating. Safe place to stay, and a lovely little garden in the front. Also about half an hour walk to city centre.

My only complain was the traffic sounds from outside. And little squeaky beds but that's such a minor thing, super comfy to sleep in! But these traffic sounds are just because of the location, and eventually it did not bother much, as it did quiet down for the night quite a bit.

The house has a very authentic feel to it, with wooden floors and a beautiful front garden. It is also very well located near the bus/train station, which made it easy to reach the property from the airport by tram and leave Porto by bus. The area also offers restaurants that open late into the night, we ate at the Royal Tandoori a mere block away at 23 hrs. The room had everything we needed for our one-day stay. When we entered, my husband noticed there were several mosquitoes on the ceiling but the woman that greeted us when we arrived, who spoke English with my husband and Spanish with me, quickly got in touch with the owner and they brought us a bug killer that got rid of them in ten minutes without any issues. We slept soundly as there were no noises from the street at all. When we were leaving, the owner greeted us personally and apologised for the mosquitoes, which I understand was out of their control, but the way they moved immediately to solve it speaks loads about their sense of hospitality.

the room was tiny and since it was located right under the roof, I had to bend all the time not to hit the ceiling with my head. There are only tiny windows on the ceiling/roof, so there's a lack of natural light.

Poor weather meant room was cold. Although I had a small heater for the room I could really have done with another blanket. I couldn’t get any hot water, but there seemed no one about to ask directly .

Location was good

Bed is very bad make noise and uncomfortable I can’t sleep because of bed noise .

The perfect place to Stay . Everything was excellent .

The staff, the decoration, the cleanliness. Good running water strength.

The ceiling height, the room's overall coldness and light entrance even with the shades on. The bed's mattresses should be much better.
